George Clooney, who last month pulled in a record $15 million for President Barack Obama’s re-election during a fundraiser at his home, will host two more events on the president’s behalf this summer — this time, in Switzerland.
The actor will attend an “Americans Abroad for Obama” event in Geneva on August 27. Charles Adams, the group’s co-president, told the Tribune de Genève newspaper that Clooney will speak at a reception for 150 supporters, followed by a smaller dinner for 50 people.
The cost of attendance? That would be $1,000 per person for the first event, and $20,000 per person (or $30,000 per couple) for the second.
According to Swiss news site The Local, Clooney took part in a similar event for Obama four years ago that brought in $900,000.

Many people in Hollywood and other 1%'ers are traveling to Geneva to give birth so their kids can have dual citizenship. For example, Sasha Alexander from L.A. (Daughter in Law of Sophia Loren) explains to her 6 yr old Lucia why she was not born in the USA.

HE shouldnt be allowed to be going outside of the US to raise money for his campaign IN the US, he must be afraid that the USA wont support or donate enough to his cause.. which is Destroying The USofA one right at a time!!
Hollyweird is just a unique bizarre universe that resides in the USA.
I simply meant that they too are surprised by Mr Clooney's behavior.
I visit family several times a year in many areas of KY such as Lexington, Cynthiana, California and Scuddy in Hazard Country.
My great grandfather, share cropper and gardener, (as well as all 9 of my aunts and uncles) were born in a one room shack #8 on the CV Whitney farm :)

Doesn't really matter though because the Romney SuperPACs are on fire and every time 0bozo or Joey open their yaps, the funds come pouring in.
It's estimated that Romney will have nearly $2 Billion in help for campaign ads in educating America about who Barry Soetoro really is and what a second term would mean for this Nation.
