Gays Responsible for God's Wrath, Like Chick-Fil-A Says?

The president of Chick-fil-A said this the other day on a radio show:

"We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit," he told the Biblical Recorder. On the radio, he observed: "I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage."

That's not what the chickens say. "If God just happens to hate the same people you hate, you probably invented Him".

I like to eat more chicken but probably not the way the company prez would understand. He is entitled to publicize his views, however. I just don't buy anything at his stores of which there are two in my area. I buy from their competition.

Though I would throw in abortion and the removal of school prayer in there as well...oh and the whole liberal/atheist mindset as well.

Certainly not you stupid old bugger. God's wrath is directed at greedy, irresponsible, feckless, incompetent, useless top bankers, CEOs and politicians. They are grotesque failures and are grossly overpaid for failure.

God rightly regards them as a totally useless bunch of arseholes. They should be exterminated like the vermin they are. A pox on them all says God at my advice..

This is such a phony argument. What? If you don't agree with me, you are a "HATER"? That is so ludicrous. Now let me tell you some real "FACTS". The total percentage of "GAYS", whether men or women, is all of 4% to 5%. That's it. The population of the USA is somewhere between 350 to 380 millions. How come, 4% or 5% of the population can make this much noise? Because they have control of our media. Really, the lamestream media has gone to bed with these militant "GAY" movement. If the lamestream media had any integrity at all, they will ignore these militants. Then, just like a tree in the forest will make noise if it falls, no one will hear it.

I went with this: "While most expert estimates place America's homosexual population at 10% or less, Americans tend to guess that the number is higher, around 20%."

Because of the same reason they mention about the Census - people have a hard time admitting things to themselves, let alone the public or government employees.

So you'd rather go with an opinion, an uninformed opinion? That would be like if you asked teenagers what percentage of the population were vampires. In this TV culture they would probably say about 15%.
Place enough hype about any group and their numbers rise...

Uninformed? Nice try, but 'expert' does not equate to 'uninformed'. Try again. That 10% is EXPERT estimate. Not uninformed opinion.

The idea that 1/5 of our population has chosen a gay lifestyle makes me want to throw up. So no, I don't believe that and I work within a very large gay community. BTW, being gay doesn't work very well, statistics have nothing to do with it.

I really don't give a rats ass. As for the "GAYS" not being able to "MARRY"? That's another lie. Any one can marry anyone or anything in the country. You doubt me? Then how could a woman marry a dolphin in Fla.? Is she in jail? Nope, neither was the dolphin. As for the complaint that they cannot legally transfer assets? Another lie. Any lawyer worth his salt can write up any contract between two people, and it will hold up in court. Now, I know why the lamestream media has taken this up. This is an election year, and they are in the tank to these liberals, socialists and communists. Any thing that will take the conversation away from the ECONOMY, the better they like it. Let's not forget what this election is about. It's about the ECONOMY, STUPID

How can a woman in Fla. marry a dolphin? You want to marry anything and anyone in the USA, all you have to do is find a judge that will perform the ceremony. In my opinion, the gays aren't going to be happy until they get FULL ACCEPTANCE, and that aint going to happen.

You may disagree with what he said, but he has the right to say it. If you are talking about hating sin, yes it is hate speech. He does not hate the sinner, but the sin. This applies to all sin and we all sin. There is not one of us that does not sin even if it just a fleeting thought.
  • sodabox ☆stillt... 2012/08/06 01:46:49

OK, he has the right, but everyone with a brain should be shouting him down for saying something horrid.

    ☆stillthe12c☆
He said nothing that was horrid he expressed an opinion based on biblical teachings. Now the Government has tried to make it hate speech, but it is not. He is practicing his faith. To outlaw his speech would be unconstitutional. You have the right to disagree with him. They are only opposing views and the is the way it should be.
    Thank You
