If it doesn't fit the liberal communist agenda then it is to be attacked and destroyed by the Commie left. Guess that explains why they're so against capitalism, christianity and family values.

Gee liberals being liberal, can't say it surprises me, the level of animosity of the left is beyond understanding, one would call them unhinged and just plain nuts, gays and their supporters apparently can't even get Darwin right, how can they cope with "higher functions" of human beings when they just want to stay apes.

    So???

He went there to counter protest.. SO?? He went there carrying a Bible..SO??

This was Videoed by an Anti gay Group ( so YOU say )..So what??

NONE of that FORCED any ONE of these people to act like flamming a$$holes..

It didn't HAVE to be Videoed by an Anti Gay Group to put these people in a bad light.. To defamed them.. There's ZERO defamation here..

These IDIOTS did that ALL by themselves and they KNEW it was being videoed .. ( which tells ME you are probably LYING about who did this )

According to accounts, the guy with the bible "...was equating Gay people to pigs and Satan. He was being loud and rude while using his Bible to interupt the event with the intent of shaming peoples life styles." http://www.theblaze.com/stori...
So what the selectively edited video shows as an unmotivated "attack" may very well have been nothing more than a response to derogatory comments being made by the bible-wielding preacher.

    From YOUR lonk..

"In walking around the small protest area, I saw the homeless man reading the Bible out loud. He was not shouting or confronting people when I saw him. It was so ordinary that I didn’t think to film him at that time. A little later, I saw people begin to gather around him, including someone writing in chalk on the ground right near where the man was sitting on a fence with his Bible in hand.

As I mentioned in my prior post, initially I saw people interacting with the homeless man civilly about theological issues…

But at some point I noticed that a crowd had surrounded the homeless man and was taunting him. I turned on my camera, and what you saw in the original video was unedited save for a few seconds at the end panning the crowd, including one person in the crowd high-fiving another as the confrontation ended…"

AGAIN.. There was nothing ILLEGAL or in any way wrong in what the man was doing.. HE addressed NO one in particular.. He raped NO one.. He damaged NO one's property.. ALL Left WIng traits common at THEIR Protests....

But then again,, it's ONLY Free Speech when Left WIngers go to an event to express their views that counter the majority of those attending that event..

Yes, you're quoting the testimony of the woman who shot the video - a blogger named Anne Sorock who's blog has decidedly conservative leanings. We've already gotten her take on the story through her video and words.

What I quoted was the testimony of the other side of the story. You see typically, one side of the story isn't enough on it's own to accurately convey the full story of what happened. And in this case, it obviously does not - unless, of course, we're to believe that a random guy just happened to innocently sit down to read his bible outside a Chick-Fil-A that just happened to be getting protested by people who support same sex marriage at the time.

Perhaps it's just me, but the one-sided, coincidental take on it sets off some warning bells in my mind that perhaps there's more to the story than the video on Brietbart is sharing with us. It certainly wouldn't be the first time...

Incidentally, the protestors who responded to the bible guy didn't do anything illegal either. And NO ONE's free speech was violated by ANY account.

I don't see where ANYBODY but YOU is making any claim that the homeless man was there co-incidently.. ANd the indication that you seem to convey that it would have to BE so for him to be there legitimately is part of the major problem with your arguments....

I don't care if the guy got up that morning with every intention of being there.. He had as much right to be there as any of the other people present..

And I'll even go as far as to say hat those people had a "right" to say and do the things that THEY did..

But JUST because one has a right to DO a thing doesn't make it the right thing to DO.. It certainly doesn't make it the right way to DO it..

The conduct of these people speak for themselves and like the Homeless man they must and will FACE the consequences of their exercize in FREE SPEECH inwhen it comes down to the Opinions and the Judgements made in the Court of PUBLIC Opinion..

Free Speech protects one's right of Free Speech.. It does NOT protect one from the right of others to disagree NOR does it protect from the reactions of the expressions.. EXCEPT from the Government..

I never said he had no right to be there. I simply pointed out in response to your comment that "NONE of that FORCED any ONE of these people to act like flamming a$$holes.." by pointing out that there's obviously another side to this story. And that other side claims that the man with the bible "...was equating Gay people to pigs and Satan. He was being loud and rude while using his Bible to interupt the event with the intent of shaming peoples life styles."

If this account is accurate, then it becomes far more understandable why the debate became as heated as it did, and frankly, neither side has much to be proud of.

There is absolutely NO evidence in word or deed that this man was being loud OR rude.. To the contrary.. By ALL accounts and the link YOU provided,, HE did NOT approach them.. THEY approached him..

They SHOULD have ignored him and left him alone..

And I state quite frankly.. By ALL accounts,, THIS guy has done NOTHING to be ashamed of while the same simply CANNOT be said of his antagonizers..

There is the eyewitness testimoney that he provoked the protestors. I quoted it for you and provided you the link to my source. In light of this, I'm not sure how you can say there's "no evidence" - eyewitness accounts are good enough for a court of law but not for Sodahead?

Who said bible guy "approached" them, and what would it matter? He was obviously sitting right there amongst the protestors, reading his bible out loud, and according to witnesses was "equating Gay people to pigs and Satan". While I agree that they should have ignored him, he also should have refrained from his derogatory behavior in the first place.

I'd say that equating Gay people to pigs and Satan is something to be ashamed of. You wouldn't?

Your eyewitness account on your OWN link said and I quote,, "In walking around the small protest area, I saw the homeless man reading the Bible out loud. He was not shouting or confronting people when I saw him. It was so ordinary that I didn’t think to film him at that time. A little later, I saw people begin to gather around him, including someone writing in chalk on the ground right near where the man was sitting on a fence with his Bible in hand.

I turned on my camera, and what you saw in the original video was unedited save for a few seconds at the end panning the crowd, including one person in the crowd high-fiving another as the confrontation ended…"

The ONLY provocation that this man is guilty of is in just BEING there..

He DARED to BE within 100 yards of the CHick-Fil-A where THEY were making fools of themsleves..

Both were independent witnesses who were coming at it from their own skewed perspectives. And yes, Thayer admits to being an idiot later in his quote - or more specifically, he admits to being a "d!ck head":

"Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that ass hat Christians can’t be called out for being d!ck heads by other d!ck heads."

Not a Constitutional Question and I said that from the beginning.

It's a question of justified and acceptable behavior... It's a question of IMPRESSION and Image and I think that the BOZOS lose on ALL counts....

I leave you with but ONE last comment..

Consider the eyewitness accounts null and void.. THEY cancel each other out.. There's NO visable evidence of damage to the so called injured parties to ATTEST to the validity of justification..

    SO,,,

Let the VIDEO speak for itself because when the final analysis is in,, It's ALL we have....

"Not a Constitutional Question and I said that from the beginning."

The "Constitution" comment was from the eyewitness, not me. That's why I have it in quotation marks.

"I think that the BOZOS lose on ALL counts"

Assuming the bible-thumping gay-basher is included in the "bozo" category, then yes indeed.

"Let the VIDEO speak for itself"

As we've seen time and time again, letting a Brietbart video "speak for itself" is never a good idea if you're actually interested in what really happened...

Why can't a guy go to a protest and read the bible without having slanderous things written about him and being verbally attacked? In all the CFA attendees on Aug 1, I did not see one, not one vicious behaving person. The pro-gays were treated respectfully and with dignity even if the people there did disagree with the mayors who are using their positions to try to deny a business operating and/or expanding because the business did not meet their cultural standards. Double standard much? My gay friends say that these nasties make them cringe and are only making it worse for gays.

It's proof positive of just one of the many reasons I dislike gays so much. They despise God and the Bible and anything remotely resembling decency. Their mostly nude Gay "Pride" Parades are a perfectly example of their absolute contempt for society at large...I see nothing to be 'proud' of. Without knowing all the facts it would appear that this was a group of miscreants have no concern for the rights and sensivities of others. The people who harassed the homeless man reading the Bible have not only done harm to this individual but also to their own cause.

Gay people come in all varieties. I don’t believe that this particular group represents the vast majority of gay men and women. Take away the sexual appetites of straight and gays and what you have left is just people. Some good and others not so good.
