If it doesn't fit the liberal communist agenda then it is to be attacked and destroyed by the Commie left. Guess that explains why they're so against capitalism, christianity and family values.

What is there to be outraged over? As is to be expected from Brietbart, we only see a clip of one protestor, but nothing that the supposedly hapless victim might have said to draw attention to himself in the first place. According to an account of the confrontation quoted on "The Blaze":

"The preacher was equating Gay people to pigs and Satan. He was being loud and rude while using his Bible to interupt the event with the intent of shaming peoples life styles."
    http://www.theblaze.com/stori...

If this is accurate, then we simply have an example of a heated exchange at a protest. Big whoop.

something seems entirely wrong with this very short video. I'm not sure why a guy would just sit down and start reading a bible in front of protesters.

but for what reason would cause any person to go up to a group of others protesting something thinking I'm just going to read the bible in front of them. wouldn't it make more sense if he did it in a quieter area? this looks like a set up, and it's likely he was being a dick to the protesters and edited the video to look like a victim. those kind of videos are becoming far to common.

why should someone have to go to a quiet area? Let's pretend for a minute you are right with his intentions, does it make the actions right? Look at the way that man acted in the drive-through, ridiculing the young worker at the window... did you see her reaction? That's how one should respond ... just like CFA was providing free lemonade to the protesters. This does not have to be ugly. It was merely an opinion which one should be able to have without all of this fiasco.

yeah, the guy at the drive through, I didn't think was cool either. and i don't know about the lemonade but i can confirm water. but another thing i do know about is some locations, 2 so far I know of for sure, did also have fundies come over with there own signs to try to be a pain in the ass. this was in san diego.

confirm water locations 2 fundies signs pain ass san diego

I won't deny there are bad apples on each side, however these signs to read the holy Bible & repent are not over the top to me. I don't know anything about being able to be fired in 28 states, however I do know CFA does not discriminate against gay people. They hire and don't turn away business to gay people. If they did, I would have a problem with that.

okay the only one I see that is "messed up" would be the support of the "kill the gays" in Uganda. I have read about that, they have capital punishment for "aggravated homosexuality" which consist of homosexual behavior with children under 18, to the disabled,& "serial offenders"... I believe we can all agree having sex with children and the disabled is definitely criminal, whether the severity of the offense comes into play or not, it's definitely criminal.

but yet I still have not seen a direct link to Dan Cathy believing homosexuals should be killed. I don't believe that. And I truly don't think the majority of the people do. That particular foundation provides counseling and therapy, to which I'm sure funding is for.

thats the thing. first of all, I have a number of friends that are gay, and they really are no different form everyone else, just like the same sex. thats it really. and they are among the most harassed groups of people today. i remember in high school seeing how much some of the kids i knew at the time were. it was sad.

also the problem with gay conversion therapy is it's very damaging to the person. some of the people that have gone through it end up killing themselves.

the only difference between gay and a straight person is who they are attracted to. I treat them no different than I do anyone else. I also get tired of the hypocrisy some have when it comes to "sin". Many of times I have seen heterosexual people telling stuff to gay people about their lifestyle being sinful, when they are sleeping with multiple people outside of marriage. It's the same immoral sin.

I wish the world was a kinder place that's for sure. We can all have different beliefs systems and still get along.

If this was indeed the case - and it seems likely that it was the case as it's very strange to imagine a random guy just happening to sit outside a Chick-Fil-A to read his bible in the middle of a protest - then this is a pretty underwhelming story.

The same way Dan Cathy attacked gay people everywhere,by stating their opinions.
    -gasp- -the horror!!!
Only difference being, when he did it,it was wrong, and when they did it the clouds parted, the sun came shining through, trumpets sounded, and the singing of angels resounded in the ears of the masses!!!
