Gay Activists‘ ’National Marriage Equality Day’ at Starbucks Has Low Turnout...Following the massive support for Traditional marriage surrounding fast-food chain Chick-fil-A over its gay marriage stance last week, pro-same-sex marriage activists hoped to show support for Starbucks, a company that has come out in favor of gay rights. But, unfortunately for those organizing the “National Marriage Equality Day” on Tuesday, turnout was relatively low — at least when compared to the number of Americans who came out to laud Chick-fil-A just days earlier.

Dignified, quiet demonstration with their clothes on will not have much appeal to many of them.

Considering how many gays and bisexuals live where I do, I am completely surprised! I didn't even hear that this was going on, and believe me when I say I would've gone, so it may have been due to bad or low publicity.

Not suprised at all. First of all, the Chick-fil-a issue was more about Freedom of Speech. Secondly, I think everyone is tired of hearing about all of this. Let's move on.

If for no other reason than the fact that Starbucks' 'swill' is exorbitantly priced and tastes like crap.

In the only kind of poll that counts - the one that takes place inside a polling booth - "gay marriage" (an oxymoron) has NEVER won.

The tradition-hating activists can try all kinds of stunts, but the people have rejected the idea of "gay marriage" whenever it's been put to a vote.
