Gay GOP group barred from CPAC / Racism Is A Vital Piece Of The 2012 Republican Platform I can't find any compelling gay reason to vote Republican in 2102. Can you?
After being tipped off by a recent Washington Blade article about GOP LGBT groups’ attempts to influence the Republican Party platform at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., Family Research Council President Tony Perkins says those groups should expect a fight.
In a recent Washington Update, Perkins warns that “activists are already plotting to overthrow the Republicans’ pro-life, pro-family platform. … Homosexual groups like GOProud and the Log Cabin Republicans are hoping to elbow their way into the conversation, but they’ll meet strong resistance from the solid conservatives that have historically dominated the platform process.”
Gay GOP groups’ essential strategy, as reported by the Washington Blade, is to try to make the party’s 2012 party platform more LGBT-friendly than 2008′s platform, which denounced same-sex marriage as well as statues against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity in areas such as employment and adoption.
GOProud, the gay Republican group that was founded because the Log Cabin Republicans were considered too concerned about gay civil rights and not sufficiently focused on “fiscal issues,” is not invited this year, because they are too “aggressive” about being gay. BUT White Supremacist invited to speak this cabal of bigots were comfortable with!
Topping of “Gay People We Hate You” but Please vote for us jamboree (C-PAC). Speaker White Supremacist, LGBT Hater, anti- Immigrant anti-Latino anti-Jew you name it he hates it Kicks Conservative Conference CPAC
(Celebration of Hate!)
it's Amazing Gay Republicans fight to be a part of this carnival of hate Perkins’ major concerns with LCR and GOProud appears to stem from a concern that the Republican Party might bend a little on LGBT issues, but it’s the 2012 Democratic Party platform (which he says is also “under attack” by LGBT lobby groups) he fears. What is Perkins afraid of that human rights might become vogue with the RNC? Not likely The LGBT are going too break into his home and re-decorate? Force him to get a decent hair cut? force him to ware tasteful clothing? My question to gay republican why ? Why do you Desperately Seek Recondition from this PAC of Bigots? Why do you have to belong to the party of regression ? You don’t have to join the Democratic party there are opinions other then Democrats or Republicans. One of the cry I always get is we (Log Cabin Republicans) believe in fiscal responsibility...you mean like President Clinton who turned the county over to GW Bush with a surplus witch then Republican GW Bush ran up a total of $3.283 Trillion in deficit spending -President Bush expanded public spending by 70 percent, more than double the increase under President Clinton. -Medicare part D. According to the latest reports, Medicare part D only added $16 trillion to our national debt. For those who are not familiar with it, Medicare part D was George W. Bush’s transparent ploy to buy the senior vote. It was also a huge giveaway to the pharmaceutical companies. Medicare part D paid for a line of prescription drugs. It also promised the pharmaceutical industry that the United States government would not negotiate drug prices. -U.S. lost billions to widespread waste and fraud in war spending. The Pentagon comptroller during President George W. Bush's first term. "More waste. More fraud. More abuse." -The bipartisan commission, created by Congress in 2008, estimated that at least $31 billion and as much as $60 billion has been lost in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past decade due to lax oversight of contractors, poor planning, inadequate competition and corruption. The number is much, much closer to $60 billion. This is the party that claims government should be run like a business ??? Really ??? I could list many many more hypocrisy in fiscal irresponsibility and the Republicans, but now I have debunked the Number one reason Gay Republicans say there Republicans. Again I am not saying they should join the Democratic party there are other options Then the other reason Gay Republicans say there Republican.... His Royal Highness – The Grand exalted Poo Pa-The Grand Cyclops of the Republican cult of personality Ronald Reagan. It must be the great hair that never grayed, because Unfortunately, Reagan was not as fiscally responsible as many would like to believe. In FACT (NOT OPINION! Your Welcome To Your Own Opinion, But Not Your Own FACTS), in some ways, he was worse than Barack Obama. Sacrilege, I know, but let’s look at the how’s and why’s and the factual evidence that supports it. Well, looking at the unemployment statistics is kind of eye-opening and will most likely be shocking to Reaganites. During Obama’s first 18 months, unemployment rose from 7.7 percent to 9.5 percent; that’s pretty horrible. However, over the course of Reagan’s first 18 months, unemployment rose from 7.5 to 9.8 percent; that’s half a percent higher! In retrospect, as far as unemployment goes, Obama is doing a better job than Reagan at the start of his presidency. The unemployment rate in the United States fell to 8.3 percent in January of 2012 , the lowest since February 2009. That’s a hard pill for Republicans swallow because there Praying for more misery and suffering. Ronald Reagan also holds a record, that record is being the president with the highest average spending as a percentage of the GDP. Inflation has warped the numbers since the 1980′s but when looking at a total percent of our nation’s GDP, Reagan takes the cake. Granted, Obama is on his way to shattering that record but the fiscal responsibility of former-President Reagan must come into question and raise some eyebrows. During Reagan’s last year in office the percentage of GDP being spent was at 21.3%, giving us a deficit of 3.1%. At one point in 1983, the budget deficit was at 6%! In fact, federal spending under Reagan grew from $678 billion to $1.14 trillion. Even amongst a plethora of raised taxes, Reagan could not bring the GDP deficit down to a real manageable level. Speaking of raised taxes, Reagan increased taxes twice in 1982 and then raised them again in 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987: nearly every year that he was in office. With all of these new tax dollars coming in, the Reagan Administration was still underwater. Keep in mind that this was after the tax cuts of 1981 that many conservative commentators like to use in their “talking points”. On a side note: as governor of California, Ronald Reagan instituted the highest tax increase in state history. Reagan made it clear in speeches that he would not cross the line to the latter. Said Reagan during the 1980 presidential campaign: "My criticism is that the gay movement isn't just asking for civil rights; it's asking for recognition and acceptance of an alternative lifestyle which I do not believe society can condone, nor can I." So themes the FACTS!!! Now you will continue to worship Reagan as is your right, but using Reagan's fiscal record to defend belonging to a PAC of bigot is flawed I can't find any compelling gay reason to vote Republican in 2102. Can you? Gays who vote Republican exist in a state of denial, brought about as a result of self-loathing, financial greed, or both! Anti-Gay Round up Michele Bachmann- The Pray-A-way-the- Gay, Married to a gay man candidate (as a gay person how can you support this), Anti Government sub sties that has receive tens of thousands of tax payer money. Michele became the first Republican Presidential candidate to sign the pledge put out by a group called… wait for it… The Family Leader. (Remember the WLN rule- if "Family" is in the name of the political organization they are probably up to something nasty.) This pledge amongst other things involves Bachmann promising to persecute homosexuals and ban "pornography". Ironically it also calls for strict adherence to the Constitution, none of which a President could do and be a party to the majority of the rest of the pledge, but who really pays attention to those sorts of messy details? Newt Gingrich- Hypocrisy thy name is Newt (I still think Newt sound like a elf searching for a magic ring) -Gingrich opposes domestic partnership benefits for same-sex couples. -He wants a constitutional amendment to protect the traditional family. -He believes that same sex couples should have “SOME SORT” of legal rights (wow “SOME SORT” thanks Newt) -Gingrich believes that homosexuality is a sin. -He thinks that same sex couples should NOT be able to adopt children. Mitt Romney- -Mitt Romney has created and acquired a reputation for being the most conservative candidate in the 2008 Presidential elections not only by taking a tough stand against gay and lesbian marriage but also opposing most of their petitions seeking rights for these groups. -Mitt Romney is against the idea of letting gays and lesbians serve actively in the US Military. In addition, he has said that he would not support over-turning the 'Don't ask, don't tell' legislation. -Mitt Romney has openly opposed same-sex marriage saying that it is the family which forms the basic foundation of America and therefore, it needs to be built further, protected and strengthened instead of being redefined. To this effect, Romney has expressed support for the Federal Marriage Amendment which would modify the US Constitution and prohibit same-sex marriage. -Mitt Romney has expressed opposition for civil unions as well saying that he would want to see marriage limited to being between a man and a woman. He said he would support neither but if asked to choose between same-sex marriage and a civil union, he would choose the latter as being a lesser evil. -Opposing the Supreme Court judgment on the matter, Mitt Romney strongly feels that same sex marriage would destroy not only the culture of America but would also irreparably damage the education system and there by children. Although he personally believes that Americans should be respectful of all people and their sexual orientation, the long standing institution of marriage should be upheld and respected as being the only acceptable norm. Rick Santorum- What Rick (Rimes with Di*k) said about gay people “If elected I will put back in Place Don’t ask don’t tell”. So as a Gay person you would elected a person that would force the Gay Americans serving our country back to a place where they have to fear loosing there chosen profession because there Gay. As a veteran I think if you hate your self don’t subject anyone else in your self imposed destructive self hating bubble. The rest of us have moved on! “If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual gay sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything… In every society, the definition of marriage has not ever to my knowledge included homosexuality. That’s not to pick on homosexuality. It’s not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be. It is one thing.”- Speaking to the Associated Press, April 2003 Discussing gay marriage: “This is an issue just like 9-11… We didn’t decide we wanted to fight the war on terrorism because we wanted to. It was brought to us. And if not now, when? When the supreme courts in all the other states have succumbed to the Massachusetts version of the law?”- Speaking to the Allentown Morning Call, February 2004 “You can say I’m a hater. But I would argue I’m a lover. I’m a lover of traditional families and of the right of children to have a mother and father… I would argue that the future of America hangs in the balance, because the future of the family hangs in the balance. Isn’t that the ultimate homeland security, standing up and defending marriage?”- Quoted in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, July 2004 “Gay marriage threatens my marriage. It threatens all marriages. It threatens the traditional values of this country.”- Speaking to The New York Times Magazine, May 2005 “I would argue that the gay community has not made the argument. They may have made the argument as to why they want it, but they have not made any arguments as to why this is beneficial for society. They have not made any argument – convincing or otherwise, that I’m aware of – as to what the impact would be on heterosexual marriages and what the impact would be on children…. What do we know, really, about children raised by same-sex couples? We’re into, in many respects, an unknown territory.”- Interview with The Pew Forum on Religious and Public Life, April 2008 “Is anyone saying same-sex couples can’t love each other? I love my children. I love my friends, my brother. Heck, I even love my mother-in-law. Should we call these relationships marriage, too?”- Writing in the Philadelphia Inquirer, May 2008 “This is common sense. This is nature, and what we’re trying to do is defy nature because a certain group of people want to be affirmed by society." - In an interview with CNS, 2011 Ron Paul- What Ron Really Thinks about Gay People -The newsletters dealing with gay content came from the Ron Paul Political Report or the Ron Paul Survival Report and were released in the 1990s (the entirety of the newsletters date back to the '70s). Many of the homophobic diatribes blame gay men for AIDS. An issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report from 1994 states that “those who don’t commit sodomy, who don’t get blood a transfusion, and who don’t swap needles, are virtually assured of not getting AIDS unless they are deliberately infected by a malicious gay.” -Of course, it is impossible to know what Ron Paul truly thinks about black or gay people or the other groups so viciously disparaged in his newsletters. What we do know with absolute certainty, however, is that Ron Paul is a paranoid conspiracy theorist who regularly imputes the worst possible motives to the very government he wants to lead. -That can be said about all the Republican candidates even the ones who have worked in and for the government for year strange anti government speak from people who get a pay check from it and Desperately want to the the Leader of it (The Government). -Ron Paul received and accepted an endorsement from a preacher that thinks we should stone gays. Politician like John McCain have refused endorsements from people with repugnant views. Ron Paul acceptance of this endorsement speaks for it self. Sarah Palin- The Queen Of Crazy as Bat Sh*t -She opposes marriage equality. She supported the Alaska marriage constitutional amendment in 1998. As Governor, she vetoed legislation that would have denied same-sex partners of state employees health and retirement benefits. She vetoed the legislation because the Alaska Supreme Court had ruled that such a denial of benefits was unconstitutional. But she indicated that she would support a ballot question on the matter and spent between $750,000 and $1.2 Million on such ballot measure in April 2007. -Her first veto as governor to block a bill that would have prohibited the state from granting health benefits to same-sex partners of public employees. Ms. Plain said she vetoed the bill because it was unconstitutional, but raised the possibility of amending the state Constitution so the ban could pass muster. -Here’s what Sarah Palin has to say about same-sex marriage. Palin said she’s not out to judge anyone and has good friends who are gay, but that she supported the 1998 constitutional amendment. -Elected officials can’t defy the court when it comes to how rights are applied, she said, but she would support a ballot question that would deny benefits to homosexual couples. “I believe that honoring the family structure is that important,” Palin said. She said she doesn’t know if people choose to be gay. GOP increase the contract with the lawyer hired to defend DOMA from $500,000 to $1.5 million. In May, Bancroft PLLC lawyer Paul Clement was hired to represent Congress in defense of DOMA, which bars the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages. So Gay Republicans the money they give too the RNC is going to fight against there own civil rights. Bizarre Announcement from Log Cabin Republicans following C-PAC We will be burning crosses on our own lawns and then we will bash each others brains in. and later we will stone our self. The regressive Republican Party of No is obstructionist, mean-spirited, thuggish, religiously fanatical, scientifically ignorant, corrupt, hypocritical, xenophobic, racist, sexist, homophobic, evolution and global warming denying, oily, anti-environment, anti-consumer, anti-choice, anti-education, union busting, Medicare and Social Security slashing, fiscally irresponsible, authoritarian, selfish, greedy, out-of-touch, lacking compassion, warmongering, and otherwise dangerous.
NEVER vote for Republicans. Especially these extreme right wing off the cliff homophobic candidates for 2012.
This is what I notice about the shift of the Republican party; if you're not fiscally and socially conservative, you're not really a hardcore Republican, and Romney remark on being a "Severe Conservative" is the biggest joke of the week.
