Shortages via policy are both directly increasing prices and over sensitizing the market to even the smallest supply disruptions; but taxes are still more (51.2%) of the price of gasoline than that earned by everyone from the retiree who bought stock, the geologist that found the oil, to the clerk that sold you your last tankful.

I have to go where I have to go regardless. Unfortunately if it hits $8.00 a gallon I will still have to drive to work and the grocery store.

And the Media is SILENT. In 2008 it was blaming Bush every single day for high prices. Now NOTHING. PROVES to the Nation whose pocket they are in.

Well actually, it wasn't Bush's fault then, and it isn't Obama's fault now. There are too many outside factors that determine gas prices. Usually it's the oil, but it isn't this time.

My, you sure have a short memory. The Media continually blamed Bush. The Democrats blamed him and it is only now that their 'messiah' is president does it not matter who is president. It's called THE Double Standard.
If there was no double standard, the Liberals would have no standard at all.

Dude, I remember the criticism. But it doesn't change the fact that there are too many outside factors. BTW, if liberals have no standard, then neither do you cons.

I have a little trailer to put my groceries in if I need to hall small things . All and all I just good time out and about on them .

I slowed down my driving when they hit 3.00. So the jump while it effects me doesn't devastate me.

I could care less! As long as we export US oil for higher prices than Brent can bring to China and India, let the sheeple continue to make corporate America rich.

It's $3.75 at the nearest gas station to my house, that still beats the $4.25 a couple of months ago.

You are not alone. However now that the the stupid Feds destoyed corn for stupid ethanol, feeding the horse is as expensive as gas.

Are people eating less because food costs are going up? They're both necessities for most people.

We live in the country. I'm not going to tell my kids they can't participate in their activities because of the price of gas. The only thing that keeps me from going somewhere is the time it takes to get there and back. I don't even look at gas prices anymore.
