Shortages via policy are both directly increasing prices and over sensitizing the market to even the smallest supply disruptions; but taxes are still more (51.2%) of the price of gasoline than that earned by everyone from the retiree who bought stock, the geologist that found the oil, to the clerk that sold you your last tankful.

Wow, that one day? ha, you're funny. Obama himself said that fuel prices would necessarily rise under his policies. Way to hit poor people, Obama.

Hang on to that snapshot...that's all you have. Where are gas prices today? How about the last 3 years? Where have they been averaging? Wake up. Obama HIMSELF said prices would go up. Just google it.

YEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what happens If Israel attacks Iran and Iran shuts off the Gulf Oil?

It will get worst. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE TWO HUNDRED TRILLION BARROWS OF OIL AMERICA HAS UNDER THE GROUND IN THE UNITED STATES?

Notice the Poster Above! I made that based on my research and Obama shut off the Oil Drilling that drove the price of Gas up to appease his Environmental Voters

AND AMERICA GETS SCREWED AT THE PUMP THANKS DIRECTLY TO OBAMA

I'm driving the same, but I drive a fuel efficient vehicle and only live a couple of miles from work. If you really want to lower the price of gas, stop using it. Supply and demand.

I try and bike or walk when I can but that was a habit I've been practicing for some time now, because I can recognize cause and effect unlike most people when it comes to gas prices.

I realize not everyone has the luxury of living within 5 miles of their work or grocery stores, so no offense to you folk.

We don't have to have these ridiculous gas prices. We have too many untouched resources right here under our feet.

I accuse the govt of trying to keep up home and isolated and will not succumb to that.

"Tapping" said resources won't necessarily drop the prices drastically, it all goes into a global pot.

Correct but if supply goes up, prices go down.
Having that supply from a stable region (US & Canada) keeps speculators from worrying (which raises prices)
The more we and Canada produce, the lower prices will be.

I'm driving about the same... not at all. Who can afford a car? Car, plus insurance, plus gas, plus parking? No thanks, I'll take the bus.

We stopped looking for land until gas goes down. One word is the answer...new refineries.
All this oil they are driller for in Texas has to refined somewhere. 155,000 new wells in Midland and even more around San Antonio.

But not because of gas prices ~

I haven't been in a vehicle for four months now...

Got everything I need within walking distance, so I'm good ;0 )

I do, however, need to take a five hour roadtrip, in the near future, for a court date,

so I'll be filling up the tank soon, and headin' out, via the scenic route to make up for it all !

Driving less is just the tip of the cost increase iceberg on this. Food, supplies, components, parts everything is being priced higher. Same time the fed and Oblowhole's policies are making the money wroth even less. Until the moron in chief is replaced, this is going to HURT!!

Don't have much of a choice. I've got to get to work and take folks to their doctor's appointments. The laudably taunted public transit here is abysmal.
