It hasn't been long enough for me to really see a difference. Yet, I have two questions:
    1. We were told that the raise in grocery prices were due to the high cost of gasoline. Since the price of gas has fallen, I have not seen a change in the price of cookies. When are things like that going to fall again?
    2. How much is it going to cost the tax payers to refill the Reserves? Ha ha...I guess we aren't supposed to worry about things like that when gas drops 20-30 cents a gallon.

Yes, but how they are stimulating this small decrease is not long term, but temporary. Releasing crude from the Strategic Oil Reserve will not increse the flow, just glut the market temporarily!

President Obama released a pittance of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves as prices started declining. One can infer that Obama did this to take credit for lowering gas prices.

It has nothing to do with supply. It's Wall Street and the value of the U.S. dollar.

Gas prices should go UP! They're way too low in America. We need $8, not $4.

Gas prices are down about 47 cent from where they were a month and a half ago. And to fill up a half a tank for me is ten gallons. I'm saving nearly $4.70 from where I was a month and a half ago. That is better than nothing!

Would I like to see back down to below $3? Most definitely, but right now I'm just being thankful that I can save a few dollars on gas at the moment.

    Yes, somewhat.

But keep in mid, we haven't gotten into the driving season yet. Summer is the big season... and by this weekend, we are going to be seeing increases at the pumps again as demand for gasoline increases as people take their summer vacations.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. I read that AAA is predicting a large increase in the amount of driving this summer. And with more driving comes more gas demand.
