I don't blame Obama for the high gas prices but if a Republican was president you can bet almost every news outlet and entertainment source would be blaming the POTUS.

I read you comment and it made me laugh because your ignorant and don't even know it.
If you believe Obama's position on ''green energy'' has more of an affect on gas prices than the items listed, your a fool.

    1. Global demand
    2. Speculation in the oil market
    3. Rising demand from developing nations
    4. Tensions with countries like Iran

Foreign policy, Moratoriums, attack on oil companies, anti-coal industry, stimulus money awarded to foreign fuel exploration while destroying our fuel drilling, restricted oil drilling in our country, pushing our gulf drilling else where, shutting down the pipe line from Canada, do you need more reasons?

If you would like to have a debate, state your premise.

I don't know why you asked me ''do you need more reason''.

The Lamestreamers will attempt to blow it over, but the lack of money in people's pockets due to the obama Depression and his horrible energy policy will rule the day.

Everything bad that happens is still Bush's fault. And Romney's now, too. I know 'cuz Obama sez so and the president does not lie.

I find it funny that everytime something happens the blame game points its ugly finger at Obama. I mean if the Pope got caught with his finger in his nose OMG its all Obama's fault. Give me a break. Maybe someone here can tell me how a refinery fire is on Obama??

Fire is not his fault, but maybe his anti-drilling for oil policies have contributed...

Most of the public probably doesn't know what mobill or use less even means, unfortunately. We still need to drill until alternates become prevelant.

Let me guess in Alaska!! Personally I think a better idea is a HUGE ad campaign showing what is possible that and the high gas prices will do one hell of a job. All you have to do is look at the beginning of Microsoft and the net.
  • Frank Centris... 2012/08/13 19:55:24

One thing I thing that needs to be done is Americans need to conserve as much gas as possible thereby using less gas and that always serves to drive prices down.....
  • Centris... Frank 2012/08/13 20:05:02
    Centrist_Bill
The problem with that idea is the oil companies. Did you know that they are selling OUR gas to China and other Nations. It creates an artificial demand and that is why we are paying the prices we pay. Demand right now is at its lowest in a ton of years but we arent getting any kind of price relief. Im in Sacramento and Im used to seeing huge SUV's but now its a ton of Toyotas and 4 cylinder cars. Even Hot August Nights in Reno was really slow.

I agree........I worked in the Gulf coast region for years where most the refineries locate.. I worked for a railroad and we did a lot of business with Exxon, Texaco, BP, and a lot of other oil companies. People don't understand that they can do pretty much whatever they want. They pay big money to their execs, and big bonuses. It's always about the money for them and they can control Congress whether it's Democrat or Republican.

Do not worry though, I am sure nobama will cut a deal with OPEC to get the gas prices down up until the election and when all the lemmings and idiots vote him back in, he will raise it even higher.
