Paris (AP) - France's top diplomat said Tuesday that it already may be too late for world powers to help Libyan opposition fighters repel an advance eastward by Moammar Gadhafi's forces.

French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe, in a radio interview before he and Group of Eight counterparts began a meeting in Paris, suggested that events on the ground in Libya have already outpaced diplomatic efforts. Countries still remain short of an agreement, he said.

I am curious, Rebel... what do you think the G-8 should have done? I mean is there really a "Good Guy" in that dispute?

I've read about all that gadhafi has done for his country (advanced education, living conditions, etc) and really wonder what the rebellion is all about!!!

I guess the problem I have is that we are being told what is going on by a media or administration that wants us to think a certain way. I don't think we know all of the truth, just like you pointed out about education etc.

Rebel, I appreciate the thought... I have tried to whittle away at shared questions,, I had 344 when I started,,, I have answered about 50, and now I have 370!!! It is a losing proposition to try to keep up with things on here... by the way, that isn't even counting the 80 or so that I have deleted without opening. I try to read everything that you post (at least in the body of the question), but being honest, I rarely get to links.
I do appreciate all of the research you do. That is why I was hoping for a knowledgable answer to what I asked back.
