I don't think Fox has quite that much power. They have the power to incite violence, close minds, turn Americans against each other, and hire idiots though.

Where have you been? We've been a police state for decades!

For a quick example... Look at our paramilitary prohibition enforcers. And the UN-Patriot Act. Which Bush promoted and Obama kept alive!

Only a fool believes there is any difference in the failed liberal/conservative paradigm, with their welfare/warfare Big government agenda, through corporatism and cronyism.

    Duh!

Megyn Kelly is a very unbiased newscaster with a slight right slant. Pepper spray is not that big of a deal. They were disobeying the law and they needed to move. I am on the side of the law in most cases.

So it is ok for government employees to break laws and Obama and congress to break law. It is ok for wall street to ignore law? I thought the OWS wanted law enforced on Wall Street but it is OK for them to break the law??????????

There is civil disobedience and there are criminal acts. An intelligent person can easily tell the difference.

"Any compound that can influence nerve function is, by definition, risky. Research tells us that pepper spray acts as a potent inflammatory agent. It amplifies allergic sensitivities, it irritates and damages eyes, membranes, bronchial airways, the stomach lining — basically what it touches. It works by causing pain — and, as we know, pain is the body warning us of an injury." (That was written by a scientist named Deborah Blum. but I have seen many similar warnings about pepper spray, some from police sites.)

What she said was inane; evidently she has never experienced the effects of pepper spray. I have, because I used mine to protect a friend once, from an attacker. That campus cop sprayed kids just sitting there, directly in their faces, twice. Just breathing indirect spray causes extreme duress in breathing, eye burning, and uncontrollable coughing.

These protesters want to clash with police.

They think that if they can make the police look bad it will somehow sway public opinion towards communism.

They have been planning this crap from the beginning...

Do not lock arms or go limp when the police begin the arrests. When police reach down to make the physical arrest give them your arms and let them help you up and walk with them to the paddy wagon. This approach allows less injuries to occur to the activists and the police. It is also important that the coordinator does not participate in the action so that he or she can let the police commander on the scene of the action know how the activists are physically prepared to be arrested.

Never plan where and at what time you will do an action. Create groups of ten to twenty or more activists and have each group elect a coordinator who will pick a time and location for an action and only announce the action moments before it occurs. While waiting for the coordinator to declare an action the group can choose a flash mob approach and receive a text of the time and location allowing the group to disperse locally before the action or the group can just picket on the side walk with the coordinator before the action is called. This approach prevents undercover police from knowing exactly where and when the action will take place. Once the action begins it will also take time for the police to arrive and get organized for the arrests ...

This approach prevents undercover police from knowing exactly where and when the action will take place. Once the action begins it will also take time for the police to arrive and get organized for the arrests allowing for the greatest impact on the traffic. The more time your are sitting on the pavement the more the traffic will be snarled.

When doing an action do not step out into speeding traffic. Wait for a lull in the flow of traffic in the street and then walkout remaining in a standing position until the most immediate cars are halted by your action. Once the traffic has clearly stopped because of your blockage then and only the will the coordinator give the ok to sit down. Safety is of the utmost importance in all these type of actions.

Only activists that know and understand that they may be brought up on actual charges and may have to spend some time in jail should take part in these actions. Always give your name to the police so the legal team that will represent you can find you in the system after the arrest

Because power corrupts and truth is an enemy of corruption. I've watched Fox for a couple years now and they have aired viewpoints on all sides of issues. I find it informative and refreshing. And when they make a boo-boo, they don't hide it, they admit it and correct the error, whatever that happened to be. I often detect a slight right leaning to some of their stories but they usually balance it out with guests representing the opposite viewpoints. I don't see why everybody is so quick to criticize Fox. Good grief, I watched Chris Matthews on MSNBC one time and almost went into shock when he took off on Bush in a tirade I couldn't explain! Far as I'm concerned, Fox News is a patriotic channel and I recommend it totally. without hesitation!

Fox News caters to republicans, and they aren't interested in real news, they want the news skewed to favor their agenda so they can sit in there homes and feel right about everything... it's easier than actually thinking.
