Fox Nation Readers Smear Andy Griffith

If you thought Fox Nation readers would have enough class to put aside political differences and show some respect to the newly-deceased Andy Griffith – well, you’d be wrong. Although the post, itself, had a banner saying, “FOX NATION SALUTES,” many of the readers had nothing but smears and jeers for his passing. Screen grabs after the jump.

    I did not agree with Griffith Politics, he sure was not the Andy he portrayed on TV, I have not read one post about celebrating his life, until this one, only lefties attack fox news. WHO CARES.

    Wow, I speechless. I loved Andy Griffith, to me he seemed like the perfect dad. Sad, that people feel they have to bash someone and make fun of their death. My parents taught me that if you can't say something nice about someone don't say anything at all. Too bad the people who made inappropriate comments weren't taught the same. Rest in Peace, Mr. Griffith.

    Have you seen me condone such attacks against Bush? On the other hand, instead of trying to use make excuses, why don't you condemn the attacks against Griffith? That you don't indicates your character or, more accurately, the lack thereof.

    Irrelevant whether you condone attacks on Bush or not. I neither said I condoned or condemned the attacks on Mr. Griffith. I happened to like him as an actor, regardless of his politics. I said very nice things about him on my FB page when he passed. I grew up watching him as many of us did.

    Nor did I make a personal attack on you but a general one on liberals so I don't think you have any business questioning someone's character or "lack thereof".

    Maybe we should since you think people aren't entitled to their own opinions. Saying people are entitled to their opinion is not condoning that opinion. I don't like the ugly things they said. I don't like ugly things most people say. But my dislike of it does not negate their right to express it.

    Can you with all honesty say you have never disliked someone and strongly expressed that opinion? Can you show me where you personally condemned the vitriolic, hateful opinions expressed by others of George Bush or any other conservative? Have you done so each and every time you have seen it?

    The difference is that Andrew Breitbart spent his life spreading hatred, deliberately slandering innocent people and working as hard as he could to undermine the government of the United States of America. Andy Griffith was an entertainer.

    Facts and hatred are two completely different things. You would think that liberals who use these tactics to their fullest extent would be ashamed to use it in mixed company(conservative vs liberal).

    Not only have I seen his ad giving seniors accurate information about the added benefits they are receiving under the Health Care Reform Law, I posted it. As I said, Mr. Griffith never hated anyone, never insulted anyone, and never lied about anyone.

    You DO understand what "remix" means, right? There's no way in hell that that commercial cost even $20,000, much less $700,000, and it's true that seniors will be most affected by the health care law - THEY WILL STAY ALIVE LONGER. They WILL have free preventive checkups (as Andy said), they WILL have lower prescription drug costs (as Andy said), and the Law will eliminate $500,000,000,000.00 in Medicare fraud (as Andy said).

    Apparently she's quite familiar with Breitbart's "legacy". From Breitbart's site today alone we had to deal with (1) Round 543 of the "Obama is using a phony social security" bullsh*t, (2) a complete fabrication about the added costs to students if the student loan rate was allowed to double, and (3) a story that took a David Axelrod comment about "making sure the public knows the facts about Mitt Romney's personal finances" and tried to turn it into a "smear campaign to lie about Romney".

    I know one thing, if i don't like a person when he was alive,i will say nothing good about him when they die,and anyone that does is a hypocrite.I knew nothing about his politics,but as a actor i enjoyed his shows.
