The taxi driver, Soner Yasa, said "I want to teach those girls a lesson. If it wasn't for the video inside my cab, they could have ruined my life forever." If this man had been convicted of sexual assault, he could have lost his job, lost his freedom and been put on the sex offender registry. Not to mention the mental trauma and stress of the accusations and the time in prison. Women have to learn they CANNOT cry rape when they don't get their way. Rape is a very serious crime. Throwing about false accusations of such a crime should be equally as serious. The very least I would try to get is charges of defamation of character and slander, as they announced to passersby that he had done something which he had proof was not the case.
