Team Obama today introduced a new, one-word campaign slogan,
“Forward,” in a seven-minute web video of the same name that lays out a
case for the president’s reelection.
The ad suggests Obama fell heir to, in Alan Greenspan’s words, a
“once in a half-century, probably in a century” economic crisis, but
argues that things are improving: the stimulus “saved up to 4.2 million
jobs” and the auto bailout another 1.1 million; manufacturing has seen
its first increase in jobs “in a decade”; between March 2010 and March
2012, 4.1 million jobs were created in the private-sector. The president
“took on” credit card companies and “the Wall Street banks,” the ad
says, passing reforms to stop “unfair fees and hidden penalties” and
ensure financial institutions “never again wreck our economy.”

You can go backward to the trickle down, no regulation government that destroyed economies across the globe. You can go backward and not help low income workers ending the EIC. You can go backward to having private insurers (they still don't cover seniors) or out of your own pocket for senior healthcare. You can go backward and see SNAP, WIC, medicaid cut leaving a faulty safety net. A vote for Romney is a vote to go backward.

Climate Change Alarmist Recants: ‘I Made a Mistake’
British environmental expert James Lovelock now admits he was an “alarmist” regarding global warming — and says Al Gore was too.
Lovelock previously worked for NASA and became a guru to the environmental movement with his “Gaia” theory of the Earth as a single organism. In 2007 Time magazine named Lovelock one of its “Heroes of the Environment,” and he won the Geological Society of London’s Wollaston Medal in 2006 for his writings on the Gaia theory.
That year he wrote an article in a British newspaper asserting that “before this century is over billions of us will die and the few breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable.”
But in an interview this week with MSNBC, Lovelock said a book he is now writing will reflect his new opinion that global warming has not occurred as he had expected.
“The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing,” he said. “We thought we knew 20 years ago. That led to some alarmist books — mine included — because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened.
“The climate is doing its usual tricks. There’s nothing much really happening yet. We were supposed to be halfway toward a frying world now.

“The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time. [The temperature] has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising. Carbon dioxide is rising, no question about that.
“We will have global warming, but it’s been deferred a bit.”
MSNBC reported: “He pointed to Gore’s ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ and Tim Flannery’s ‘The Weather Makers’ as other examples of ‘alarmist’ forecasts of the future.”
Lovelock also declared in the interview that “as an independent and a loner,” he did not mind saying, “All right, I made a mistake,” adding that university or government scientists might fear that admission of such a mistake could jeopardize their funding.
In response to Lovelock’s interview, the Climate Depot website stated: “MSNBC, perhaps the most unlikely of news sources, reports on what may be seen as the official end of the manmade global warming fear movement.”
Is the source of the article you referenced "Scientific American" or one more from a business journal? I rely on a consensus of scientists to help me understand science. Nor do I go to those working for R. J. Reynolds to learn about the effects of smoking on health.
4 more years of Obama will lead the country right over a cliff like a bunch of lemmings. Is that the "forward" you want Jimbo?
His name was Lt. Colonel ( onetime General ) George Armstrong Custer and the place was the Battle at Little Big Horn...
A DIRECTION is NEVER as important a thing to know as the DESTINATION..
They're not the highest during this administration but they aren't NEARLY as low as when Obama took over either..
Maybe because the REPUBLICANS have been too busy trying to control a woman's uterus and NOT creating the "jobs jobs jobs" they promised?
\And you can cram that "trying to control a woman's uterus " BS too..
It never WAS about that and YOU know it..
Nothing will change under Romney, NOTHING. The only hope we have is Ron Paul. If he can't get the nod, then at least he'll get enough clout to hold the Repubs feet to the fire.
Ron Paul, Ehhh, seems kool to me. I don't like the gay marriage part, but no-one should be denied civil rights.
Obama likes using car analogies so I will too. Romney will put it in reverse and go a casual speed. Obama will put it in reverse and stomp on the gas and not stop until he hears the crash.
Lean forward for Obama
Only the brain dead and those folks who cannot think for themselves would even consider voting for the WORST.PRESIDENT.EVER B Hussein Obama.

Owner of the Washington Times, self appointed messiah the Rev. Moon. Argument denied.
If I shift my car so that it moves FORWARD, am I being a communist?
No, it doesn't make you a communist. However, all the article does is inform the general public behind the use of the word "Forward" as a political slogan. We're not talking cars or building names or what have you. Strictly political slogans. You can come to your own opinion as for the man himself, but to disregard the article as illegitimate for that reason really only exposes weakness.
