On the Melissa Harris-Perry show this Sunday morning(6/03/2012) on MSNBC; in a round table discussion. former Va Gov Doug Wilder called Romney Campaign "VANILLA"; and that he was not Barry Goldwater; that people would say"be scared of him!"; no he was far more subtle with his message!"

Is this the way the Obama campaign elects to use the "other" campaign to gin up the race vote??

I voted the way I did to be able to comment. I remember that so many people on the left used to demonize Barry Goldwater when he was in office, especially during his run for the Presidency in 1964. Now we are told by Governor Wilder that Mitt Romney is not Barry Goldwater and "be scared of him." Sounds much like Governor Wilder wants to talk abouth the distant past in order to avoid talking abiou President Obama's record. Will he be taliking next about the corruption in the President Warren G. Harding Administation?
