A smart gun owner has their guns locked in a safe not laying around waiting to be stolen and the list of gun owners lets criminals know who's not going to be armed. If anyone should sue the newspaper it should be the ones without guns.

The paper has called "open season" on unarmed citizens.
1) *BANG*
2) "What are you doing breaking into my house?"
hehehe!
Point being, if you want them to 'pay,' lawsuits are a waste of time.
