Where have I seen this before? Oh, that's right - America, 1933! The "dumb," "imbecilic" and "insane" were being rounded up and forcefully sterilized... Knew it wouldn't be long before the Eugenicists removed their masks.

They did this to a black Army officer during the 60's as well.

There are almost 3,000 living survivors of those policies. They spanned from 1933 - 1977, if memory serves me correctly. And that's only considering what happened right within our own borders. Tragic.

Am also considering the false arrests down south for "vagrancy", and the prisoners (mostly black) being forced to labor for corporations like U.S. Steel (Birmingham AL), for free.

As I said before - everyone seems to think Obama is "Carter 2.0," but his "policies" practically mirror FDR's. That's freaking scary.

How ironic is it that the fastest way to get carted off by the fuzz these days is by simply making the very same types of statements our Founders made? How twisted is that?

ehhh... I've served on board the USS New Orleans, LPH-11 with the 3rd MEU (?) on board. NONE, of them talked about revolution or leading one or any such...

Not enough information to answer that one. If the FBI has something, who knows. But making what can be construed as threats against the POTUS or an elected official, or a candidate of, will get their attention.

If he reacted badly to the FBI On his door step, then I can see a trip to the mental ward in the near future for him. But, again...

Reacting 'badly' to the FBI, wrongly, on your doorstep is not enough to warrant being carted off in the *paddy-wagon.

I used to work with some of those TLA's, and I have to give some credit to them in that they do their homework. Marine, threats on facebook, talk about being taken away to lead a revolution...

The posts are not enough information. But added into that, this is a facebook page that is only posted to by either him or a supporter of his. It will not tell anything except his side of the story.

My /guess/ is that he's in the mental ward pending an evaluation, not as a permanent resident. Once they have that evaluation, they'll proceed from that.

But, that is only a guess.

Well isn't this America? Aren't people presumed innocent until proven guilty?

Mental ward != guilty. I don't know how people made that association but no, he's not guilty by virtue of where he is now.

It's possible the FBI went there and saw a case where he needed to be evaluated because he could have been a danger to himself or others. Field agents are not psychologists. They have only guidelines on what behaviors they observe require them to invoke that evaluation, and the marine may have tripped one or two of those.

FBI are rarely just thugs in suits, despite what Hollywood might like to paint them as. They are an investigations branch. That's what they do, investigate to see if there IS an issue. If he was all talk and wasn't unbalanced, I'm pretty sure they would have left him alone.

I am at this point making guesses, and if we hear nothing else about this story from the news then I bet what happened is he was deemed sane, safe, and it was just him spouting off without any real intent to 'sever heads', but because that doesn't make headlines the news will lose interest and look elsewhere for their jollies.

Arrest without probable cause is tantamount to proving one's own innocence.

He committed no crime, there was no criminal charge- only a trip to the psyche ward. Why? On what grounds? A thought crime?

We don't know. What has the news reported? Very, very little.

I know the point you are driving towards, but there is not enough information to work with. Everything, is wild speculation at this point.

That is the point I'm driving toward - there is virtually no information, yet the FBI and Secret Service were tapped to carry this out. Law enforcement - be it state or federal - is not granted authority to abduct people they deem "potentially" problematic. That's not how this is supposed to work.

That's not what I'm saying. They hadn't released enough information for US, you and I, to know.

And if they do decide on proceeding with it as a criminal matter, then by keeping everything close to the chest you don't get a guy that's tried by the media before he gets a chance to be tried by a jury of his peers, or end up used by some political party as a weapon.

They may very well have that info... but if releasing it will jeopardize any chance at a fair trial, then they SHOULD keep it secret.

I smell big trouble. They will only let Ron Paul speak at the convention to a scripted speech. He turned them down. People are not going to sit still and watch them literally steal this election. Romney picked his VP without even being elected Nominee!! These people are very very sick psychopaths.
