Exactly the same way President Bush planned to: Allow JGTRRA and EGTRRA to expire as designed. We are already 2 years past their intended expiration thanks to House Republicans and their holy pledge to Grover Norquist. Before JGTRRA and EGTRRA went into effect the US Budget ran at a SURPLUS of $400 Billion.
How many videos would you like me to provide showing abuse of the system and people who think the government owes them something?
Someone saying they want to work and someone actually taking a job that is offered are two different things. About 3 years ago I was adding a room on at my house. I needed some help cleaning up trash, sweeping, and moving some things around I couldn't do myself. There was a man that regularly stood on the corner holding a sign that said "Will work for food". I offered him food and $10/hour. His response was that he couldn't do that kind of work but would take the money. He got nothing.
http://www.ehow.com/info_8065... It's really hard to get unemployment actually and has strict requirements. Not to mention that you have to actually apply for jobs to get unemployment.
Oh I see. So you're saying raising taxes to Eisenhower levels and instituting major Public Works Programs is the correct solution and is verified, documented and proven by the 57% of The Eisenhower Administration with actual business experience
Its nice to see you finally agree with President Obama.
Over the past 70 years, the Misery Index goes DOWN as Taxes go UP. The reason is simple. Spending grows the economy. and higher taxes force spending (by individuals AND corporations) to obtain write-offs. If you've ever filed anything other than a 1040EZ you'd know that.
Compare the statistics on these two links and make your own chart. It comes out the same every time.
I'll tell you this, I have a relative, he always talks about the many different jobs he has had and how hard he worked at them. Then he gets hurt on the job( or so he said) and trys to sue, then that fell through and the company obviously didn't want him back . So he needed to find a job or draw unemployment. He said he would just as soon sit at the house because he could make just as much. That pissed me off.
I'm in the timber business, and I've been wondering why there hasn't been as many U.S. Forest Service timber sales lately. I heard it because China is holding our forests as colateral on some of our debt. Boy, won't that piss off alot of people when China clearcuts our National Forests?

three different websites prove my case.
TulsaWorld doesn't show
The CNN.com pieces ranks about on the same level as the Washington Post article.
NONE provides any statistics about people wanting to work. They are opinion pieces about unemployment insurance itself.

Hmmmmm.
Comparing what happened in the 1950s when people had a work ethic about them is quite different than the entitlement mentality of today.

We don't. We just continue spending recklessly until the Chinese decide the day of reckoning is here.
