You!

The Republican National Convention begins on August 27, and you and I have some critical work to do to get ready.

As I shared last week, my campaign will have as many as 200 bound delegates and several hundred more on the convention floor who support our issues.

To stand with my delegates, I will be holding an important rally in Tampa on Sunday, August 26th. Everyone is welcome to attend. In fact, I'm hoping we'll have a wonderful crowd.

The goal of this rally is to kick off the week for our delegates, set the proper respectful and positive tone, and prove to the GOP establishment that you and I are the future of the Republican Party - and that we stand behind our beliefs 100%.

Today, I shot a video sharing my thoughts on my campaign's successesand how we will advance our ideas in Tampa. I do hope you'll take a moment to watch it.

Of course, my campaign is still competing in several state conventions still yet to come. And we have a lot of planning to do to prepare for the convention.

If you are a delegate, please stay tuned for communications from my staff laying out our plans and offering assistance.

If you are not a delegate but would like to come celebrate with us, you will hear more details in the coming weeks.

There is no doubt that you and I can win the future.

Tampa is an important step toward restoring liberty in our country and setting the stage for victories yet tocome.

I hope I can count on you to join us.

For Liberty,
Ron Paul

has it occured to you, that its you and not Ron that Albert is talking about?Ron is none of those things.Ron sees the world the way it should be.a world where there isn't any Tea Party,Thirst for power and wealth, greed and violence.a world where people actually practice the principles of their religion.instead of using religion as a tool to do the Devils work.you see what you want to see.and hear what you want to hear from Ron.I'll wager you,no two Ron followers can agree on the actual meaning and practicallity of his statements.Ron appears perfect and ready for prime time.until Ron actually has to face real world competition.who don't play by his rules.

The Constitution was written for the commoner to understand. It was written and designed to be a limit on Federal powers, in that if the Constitution does not grant the power then the Fed Gov can't do it.
The Problems started when the lawyers and activist judges started getting involved ruling based on opinion and not on what is actually said in the Constitution...
    A few Examples:
~~what part of "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" allows for the prohibiting of the free exercise thereof, in public via the 1st Amendment?
~~what part of "Shall not be Infringed" is so hard for some to comprehend in the 2nd Amendment?
~~What part of the Commerce Clause allows the Fed Gov to destroy crops grown for personal use and now (Obama's legal teams argument) supposedly allows Congress to force consumers to purchase Insurance?
~~What part of the 9nth Amendment says the 9nth shouldn't be applied word for word to
to all cases where Individual rights are threatened by the fed Gov?

Simple English was used in the Constitution Lawyers and Judges apparently need remedial Reading Comprehension classes...

The worse thing that happened to our 1st Amendment rights was the establishment of the ACLU ...

"Today, the ACLU and other groups have put another spin on the 1st Amendment, an interpretation that has nearly destroyed its original meaning. Instead of allowing for the freedom to worship God, these groups have used the 1st Amendment to eliminate even the acknowledgement that there is a God entitled to be worshipped. In an attempt to establish secular humanism (the belief that mankind is god), judges, educators, and government leaders have certainly patronized those who profess no religion at all.

God is the source and defender of our rights. The role of government is to secure those rights for us. Government cannot be "neutral" toward God especially when it presumes to take His place and grant us our rights, one of which is the right of conscience - the right to Worship God in any manner we choose. The ACLU promoted the notion that every man is a god in his own eyes, whatever each person does is right because he's free to do it, and there are no rights greater than the right of privacy.

The acknowledgment of God by the state was an ostacle to such a philosophy because it implied a higher law by which all people are bound and within which freedom exists. Those who wish to be free of God's law are "offended" by the recognition of a higher moral code that restricts their behavior."

Here's how simple all this is. If you know what the Constitution is and what it is for then you know how much trouble America, our freedom and rights, are in. That is where Ron Paul comes in to the picture.

If you don't know or don't care then you are incapable of understanding what is on the line in this election. Go ahead and vote for Obama, the impostor, or Romney the Obama clone, and you will get exactly what you have earned. More corruption and fraud in government, more war, more surveillance and fewer rights and privacy, more TSA fondling and sexual harassment, more guns for drugs with Mexico, more UN control of America, more inflation, more illegal aliens, higher gas prices, more taxes to pay for everything you don't get. Sound good?

Our constitution was written in such a way as to secure the rights of conscience, and a free exercise of the rights of religion, not to patronize those who profess no religion at all.

The US Constitution does not give the federal government the power to censor a state's acknowledgment of God.

The ACLU began in 1917 as the National Civil Liberties Bureau to defend WWI draftees who claimed deferment as conscientious objectors. Founder Roger Baldwin was a member of the Communist Party who spent 9 months in prison for refusing to report for his own draft physical exam. In 1920, the bureau reorganized as the American Civil Liberties Union supposedly to defend civil rights. But one of its chief goals was the rejection of God and religion. Embracing atheism and a materialistic view of life, the ACLU undermined those absolute rights that Thomas Jefferson declared had come from God. By denying the existence of God, the ACLU denied the source of our rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

When the acknoledgment of God is removed from public life, life itself is not defined as a gift of God, but it begins when government says it does. That is the reason why we have such immoral procedures as partial birth abortion.

Our constitution was written in such a way as to secure the rights of conscience, and a free exercise of the rights of religion, not to patronize those who profess no religion at all.

According to the ACLU judges are represetatives of the state and the state is not supposed to support a religion of any sort.

Thomas Jefferson stated in the very first sentence of the Declaration of Independence that America is entiled to exist as a power on earth because of the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God." As John Quincy Adams, the 6th president of the US, later explained, "The laws of nature and nature's God ... of course presupposes the existence of God, the moral ruler of the universe, and a rule of right and wrong, of just and unjust, binding upon man, preceding all institutions of human society of government." Jefferson and John Quincy Adams agreed the God's law formed the bases for America's law and government.

Jefferson went on to say in the Declaration that it was self-evident that God was our Creator, and the grantor of rights such as "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," and that the only role of government was to secure those rights for us. A government that did not effectively secure those rights was to be abolished.

The ACLU has no hesitation suing over something even if it just looks "religous" by its shape.

This the basic reason there is so much support for Ron Paul ... we are tired of the government giving themselves powers they were never designed to have in a free Republic of the people.

I have very little in common with Republicans or Liberals. I am a Libertarian who knows the corrupt self serving public servants (?) that we have had for decades have lost their way. Our country is in dire straights and Ron Paul has the only plan to try to undo all the damage. That is the main goal. Save America. If we have to deal with religion being forced upon us who don't need or want it then we will deal with that later. It is a fringe issue.
Our Constitution is very specific as to the duties of the Federal Government. We need to get back to that and cut the unnecessary and unneeded spending along with all the corruption, back room deals, fraud, and good old boy mentality.
