BLOOMBERG.COM reports:
A record 46.7 million Americans received food stamps in June, up 0.4 percent from the previous month, the government said.

to change things for the better. Both Political Parties are too full of Greed
and Corruption. If all Americans would get out and vote and stop voting
for a Republican or Democrat we could have a Political Party that really
cares about us in charge.
I have worked all of my life and contributed to all of the government subsidies including unemployment and have never used any of them (thank God). And I was a single mother for a bit. I worked for a large corporation that provided good jobs, benefits and such. You know, the guys that many Americans love to hate? Those buggers who give us jobs! LOL
The program NEEDS to be there for people who honestly need help. I hope it returns to the day when we help the helpless and screw the clueless! ;-)
I was in a room once with a group of homeless and soon to be homeless people about 8 months ago. A counselor announced that she found a job opening that many of them would fit well in. They asked how much they'd make and every single one of them blatantly said "no thanks, my "monthly" is more than that.
I don't know how to fix that...
my 22 year old lives on her own, was taught a strong work ethic and holds 2 jobs to keep her place and pay for her car.
*I shrug*
I worked for a subcontractor that makes the AEGIS radar system for the Navy so I saw longevity and put up with some of the jobs I've had there over the decades because it was great money, great benefits and a stead job. (not to mention lifetime friends I made)
My daughter followed my footsteps sortof, she works at military bases as a civilian...marrying a marine who fought on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Look for longevity in an arena that you support.
I love working for/with the military...heck I was married on the 4th of July even! :-) (we're a little patriotic...just a little LOL)

He has or had a head-start in starting to fix the economy and he blew it, he said HIMSELF he gives himself an INCOMPLETE (HIS PARTY that is), well, he would not be able to fix anything that he does not know anything about! And all of those that cannot shrink the debt nor operate within a budget should be fired!
