Why do I say this? 7 years in EMS folks. I have had people use us a taxi for the longest time. Have a cold, don't want to drive, 911. NO! This is why 911 is broken. This is why 911 is depreciated and not up to standard.People abuse our services.
This is the way the entire nation needs to go. ESPECIALLY as a large portion of EMS is still run by VOLUNTEERS. I have been paid in the past, but now that I'm in the Air Force I maintain my certification as a volunteer - I get nothing for helping anyone...but I still do it.
