That is another fallacy that cons tout. Obama has had less regulations imposed on companies, than did Bush. He has consistenty cut taxes on small businesses. You forget, the republicans are in control of congress so there hasnt been much passed at all except for alot of abortion bills.

When a Liberal can't argue with my facts, they spew the fallacy of "shooting the messenger." In otherwords, they make a personal attack on me and, cut and run on my facts.

Let me slam the Liberal with facts about your fallacy.

"Killing the Messenger (Argumentum ad Hominem)

“This fallacy disagrees with an argument by attacking the person who makes the argument.”

    http://depts.washington.edu/m...

Does the Liberal think that Washinton University is lying about your behavior?

I didn't just spew an accusation, I named your fallacy. The difference is I understand fallacies and can name them.

Why should a US international corporation put up with Marxist Liberals when they don't have too?

Hold up. I want to see where Obama made more regulations than other presidents or raised taxes on small businesses. You like to change the subject, which is the thing republicans have done for the last 4 years.

Even your own reference slams you.

"Still, it is clear that the cost of new regulations issued in the first six years of Bush’s administration — ranging from a midpoint of $1.3 billion in 2002 to a midpoint of nearly $5 billion in 2005 — was far below the average of $7 billion a year under Obama."

"By Heritage’s count — including the regulations from independent and executive agencies – the Bush administration issued regulations that cost about $60 billion over 8 years. The Obama administration, meanwhile, has imposed new major regulations with reported costs of about $40 billion in just over two years.

"Even with a handful of rules that reduced regulatory costs by $1.5 billion, that still leaves a net increase of more than $38 billion, Gattuso said. That translates to a much higher average, per year cost of regulations under Obama, Gattuso said. The cost of regulations may largely fall on businesses, he said, but the expense is often passed on to the consumer."

No, because Obama has stopped a lot of regs that were no longer necessary to help small business.

Drop in the bucket compared to what he created. That why the businesses are fighting him.

The businesses are fighting him because they will be held to a higher standard than the vulture capitalist. They dont want to be regulated or taxed, so of course, they will be against him. He is on the right side of justice, and Romney isnt. Romney is all about money, no matter how he attains it. It is unchristian and wrong for America.

The only thing Obama regulations do is kill jobs.

Corporations have a compliance division. They determine how much the regulations will cost and their options to either comply with it or move the job over seas.

Unfortunately small business don't have that option so they either comply with it or shut down and lay the people off.

There were only 69 thousand jobs created in May and the June jobs report should be out Friday.

If Obama doesn't like money then how come he created 5 trillion dollars of public debt buying votes with welfare programs?
  • lstl5 Kiosk Kid 2012/07/04 15:09:39
    lstl5
Where did you get that from? Those welfare programs, as you call it, were passed by congress, republicans and democrats. What new welfare program did he pass? Name one!! Furthermore, corporate greed is what we are talking about, not the free market. You have your priorities all wrong.
  • Kiosk Kid lstl5 2012/07/04 15:29:28
    Kiosk Kid
He expanded and made it easier to get food stamps for one. His stimulus package was mostly welfare programs for unions.

Corporations and small businesses are the free market. They are what made the US the largest economy in the world. Why do you think China, Russia, and Eastern Europe have them today.

Are you against all corporations or just American corporations?
  • lstl5 Kiosk Kid 2012/07/04 15:39:54
    lstl5
I am aginst vulture capitalism, those coportations who are in it for greed only, and do not want what is best for all citizens of this country. He had to expand it because of the recession. Are you that naive? Whenever there is a recession, we must help those who lost their jobs thru no fault of their own. Oh, by the way, who caused the recession? Was it the middle class and the poor, or was it big banks and corporations?
  • Kiosk Kid lstl5 2012/07/04 16:16:52
    Kiosk Kid
Corporations are not in business to fund big government welfare programs. They are only in business to make a profit and as a by product of capital investments they create jobs and provide services or products.

The recession was cause by the community reinvestment act. Government put quotas on banks to make bad loans. Then Clinton extended the quotas to large banks the buy the bad loans.

Again Marxism didn’t work which is why the quotas have been deleted.

Capitalism works great when it is regulated with common sense regulations like China does. They publish their proposed regulations some times a year in advance. They get feedback from the Markets. If they think the feedback makes sense, they will change the proposed regulation before they finalize it into law.

Obama just publishes his regulations whether it kills jobs or not.
  • lstl5 Kiosk Kid 2012/07/05 12:00:20
    lstl5
That is not true. First of all, the president doesnt make regulations. It is decided by the EPA. The president doesnt even have to do anything.
  • Kiosk Kid lstl5 2012/07/05 14:39:20

Who does the EPA work for? Their regulations are made legal by executive order.

Let me explain to the Liberal. There is a federal level EPA that works for Obama. Then there are state level that work for the Govenor of the state.

There are Feberal Police and then there are state police.

Oh, thanks for the explanation. LOL You are probably blaming Obama for regs that your own state has passed, and I doubt that Obama knows anything about it. But lets blame Obama for everything. I bet he caused the oil spill too. lol You are so funny.

Hey Sweetie - I went to Southern Cal. I ate from the minute I arrived until I left - LOL! It was great. I rarely get to visit my oldest son. He and his family outdid themselves. They were awesome. We shopped and ate and watched the Olympic trials. I could get used to living like that! ......well back to reality now. Hope you are doing okay.

I haven't been to southern California since the middle 70's. I went to Sacramento a couple of years ago. I am going to Mt. Rushmore in September after the kiddies go back to school. It is about 600 miles away.

I haven’t been doing much as usual. Trying to get some exercise and kill some weeds in my yard.

The more information that comes to light, the clearer it is that this entire issue is yet another time bomb left by the Bush Administration to sabotage President Obama's administration. Fast and Furious was designed by Alberto Gonzales in 2006. A "dry run" of the gunwalking idea was conducted under the name "Wide Receiver" in 2006, and although the operation was botched, the Bush Administration hid the facts and lied to everyone who asked about the results. To date nine people involved in Wide Receiver have been indicted for their actions. Fast and Furious was merely the next step in the plan. While Holder does bear some responsibility for letting the Bush Administration's program continue, the attacks by the Republicans have no basis in reality.

As has already happened so many times, President Obama is left to clean up another mess left behind by George Bush, and as usual, the Republicans are trying to blame this Administration for George Bush's sins.

Cue the Right Wing sock brigade's "you can't blame Bush any more" whining. After all, the universe didn't exist before January 20, 2009, right?

The Justice Department has already turned over more than 8000 pages of documents. The additional documents sought by Issa are mostly those involved in an ongoing criminal investigation which by law CANNOT be released. Additionally, the President believes that executive privilege applies to many of these documents, which is his right and which also means that Congress cannot compel their release.

8,000 out of 140,000 or more is less than 6% of the documents Holder identified.

6% transparency would be considered opaque.

The President is the one who's ENDING these wasteful wars. George Bush lied us into Iraq and killed over 5,000 brave Americans in the process. President Obama ended that war. When our allies decided that we needed to go after Qadaffi, President Obama avoided the Bush method - send 100,000 ground troops in without any strategy and hope for the best - and instead worked with our allies to accomplish our joint objective without the loss of a single American life. The President has NEVER said that bombing families is a good thing, and when there has been an occasional mistake and innocents were killed he has done the right thing and apologized for the error, rather than using the Bush method- pretend it never happened, doctor the evidence to cover it up, and keep doing the same things over and over again.

The President is acting in the best interests of the United States of America, and that is exactly WHY the Right Wing constantly seeks to obstruct anything he does.

I guess its a good thing he joined/started 2-4 new undeclared unconstitutional wars to replace that Bush war we pulled our American troops to the border of as soon as we moved the private western forces in for relief. It's easy to save American lives when you create and control the opposition and fight them with X-ray/Night vision robots while under sanctions and 24hr A.I. surveillance. Lord Obama will fall... America will be free again. Executive Privilege... you will hear this term a lot in the next few years. He just used this to sweep his F&F 2nd amendment attack under the rug and keep Holder in office and out of prison. Tyranny. Wait until starts sending you text messages telling you highways, waterways and resources including wages/gas/food are now under his control despite it being peace-time without state of emergency declared and you need an RFID chip to treat your condition at the hospital or open a bank account. It's seems crazy until you remember raw milk and various other uncontrollable nature goods are illegal and now junk food is under federal legal attack. I have never known personal sovereignty I have to sneak around to live my life as I want to even when it hurts nobody and only compromises potential profits or powers assumed from their banning/controlling.
