Since when was the Wookie planning on running for office?

Barry's burning the wings off AF-1 and she can't hitch a ride on that one?

Do we really need to be paying for two campaign aircraft, security and even more merchants losing business ?

yet you don't see the hypocrisy of Obama say Bush spent to much money, then out spending him 3 to 1. Or demanding records from Romney, while making sure he has buried his. Don't you see the hypocrisy??/ Probably not, sad you can't think for yourself

3 to 1 is nonsense. got a credible source?

Don't you think that "some" of that spending was created by the two wars (started by Bush), TARP (enacted by Bush), and the needs of the country from the worldwide recession.

What records do you think President Obama burned? And don't give me the birther nonsense. He has released his tax returns.

For what? Expressing his opinion on an opinion website? Yeesh. You are free to disagree with him, but there has to be an actual violation of TOS to report someone. Poor taste is not even a violation. And that is all he is guilty of. I happen to agree with him, but would not have used the terms he did.

What better place for a "REAL HANDS ON EXPERIENCE" in the politics and US History and current events than having a SCHOOL program for their student than to have a part of history take place at the school.

These school board members are full of bull pukky. They are blatantly playing partisan politic at its worst.

Michelle Obama is the wife of the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. The Republicans may not like that, and it is their job to run against him and try to win, but she along with her husband deserves the respect accorded to the President. The Republicans only make themselves look petty, cheap, and with no class when they behave like this. I would guess that Mrs. Obama handled the situation with class and dignity.

Exactly and how does that tell kids to act in the classroom. Disrespect from students is a huge problem in schools, these kids see their parents being disrespectful to the office of the President, that gets passed down to the kids. So no one should be surprised that their kids don't feel like they should be respectful to a teacher.

It was a sign of ignorance, and a sign that the Republican party just don't get it. Why would they be so intimidated? I have friends that are Republicans, and they like myself listen to both parties to get a good sense of who I want to vote for. It's all about choice.

I have no clue to what you are saying, I have no idea as to the meaning of FLOTUS. I just don't understand why there are those who find it necessary to communicate by calling names, what happen to just plain old straight up front communication? Or better yet, whatever happened to being genuine patriotic? A patriotic person is even intelligent towards the party that they don't support.

First Lady Of The United States. FLOTUS. POTUS is the pres. TOTUS is his teleprompter...lol....

What he was saying is an elementary school is not the right place to do a campaign event. It is an attempt to further indoctrinate the children.

That's idiotic thinking, what good would it do to indoctrinate children, are they of voting age? You're nit picking!

The purpose of her visit is to recruit votes for her husband. I understand the school not accepting that type of practice but I would have handled it differently. I would have allowed it and then invited Romney or his wife to do the same. Then you would have seen the hypocracy from the left come out flaiming.

The Florida Herald article that I read said that was the purpose of her visit. Teachers are over voting age and many seniors turn 18 before they graduate.

I think in the past it has been considered an honor to have a First Lady visit a school. Partisan politics has turned it into a mockery. Tell me has either Mrs. Bush visited a school when they were First Lady? You know the answer is yes. Regardless of my politics if the President or First Lady wanted to visit my school, I'd be thrilled. I'd be horrified if my school board was disrespectful like that.

It depends on the stated purpose of the visit. If the article I read was false or misleading, which it could be, then I'd agree with you. Like any case, the devil is in the details.

And dead people are too old to vote...what is your point? this is NOT a good use of school time.
