    Sounds like wrongful termination, to me. I would not be surprised that the punitive award vastly exceeds the $ 15K asked for.

    Ugh. I don't know. Two differing stories.

    Sounds like the bank had reason if he was falsifying his time sheets.

    I just think there is a lot more to this story. I feel for this man, but I am not sure this is the right course of action. The law suit, and alerting the media that is.

    I do think there is more to this case than meets the eye. Wells Fargo just got a huge fine of 175 million for loan discrimination, and has a history as do most major banks of shady operations. The courts will have to sort it out but looks like the health costs were a factor to find something to get rid of the guy. If a supervisor signed off his time sheet the issue is than with the supervisor not the employee.

    According to him and bleeding hearts no but according to the Employer it was for cause, falsifying time records which is stealing. If they prove that then there is no other reason.

    Perhaps if they used poor work ethic or poor performance, but that should be back up with paperwork.

    If he's complained to the labor board they will investigate. That should have been his first stop.
