Even if she fit the description of a suspect the strip searches on a busy street was a gross violation of her rights. Doing it a second time should guarantee those six cops firing without pensions.The tampon removal was understandable for a full cavity body search but not out in public in front of her kids. these cops must go, and their trainers and supervisors must be sanctioned.

Few things make this THIS angry! --THIS is angering! Those cops should be tried in a court of law for an unlawful search of her person and for forcing her to expose herself to them and in public! --Oh my word, this is angering!

That's horrible if it's true. I don't know the whole story but even if they thought she was carrying drugs, I don't see why they would have thought that in the first place. What made them think she had drugs to remove her tampon? I don't get it at all. I'm really hoping this isn't true...

She did remove the tampon. Beyond that, we have only the Plaintiff's side of the story, so judging what justification there may have been is beyond any of us. Hence, the jury trial is needed.

The SCOTUS ruled that it is fine to be strip searched without probable cause. So, I doubt she has a case, but she can try.
