KEY WEST, Fla. -- Animal activists are searching for a man they say was seen stomping on baby chickens and a hen in Key West.
No one knows who the man is or what his motive was.
But the Florida Keys Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals hopes an ATM surveillance footage will help identify the suspect.

One witness who was in the drive-through lane at the bank saw the attack and called 911.

At least eight baby chickens and one hen were killed Tuesday afternoon.

Tie him up naked, spread chicken seed all over him, stick him in one of these huge chicken houses and leave him there for about 2 weeks. I gaurantee he wouldn't stomp on chicks anymore.

I'm pretty sure I'd have gotten out of the car and started screaming obscenities at him. Maybe I'd have taken out my phone and taken some pictures or video. For a little chick, I can be pretty ballsy and mouthy.

I would have gotten out of my car and asked what the hell he was doing. People and the decisions they make really scare me. I then would call the cops right in front of him on my cell phone and proceed to follow him if he tried to leave. I would be willing to bet he was not under attack by these animals, and even if he was they are baby chickens! Anyone who feels the need to do this should undergo serious mental assessment

Well... you know that if he was stomping any life form I would be stomping him.. I don't care what it is it doesn't deserve to be treated cruelly... human, animal, etc... to me this poll is about a person who doesn't value life of any form and that is not acceptable to me.
I know you weren't trying to fight... way too much meanness this week already..

Yeah, you are right about that. I honestly didn't mean anything bad. Cruelty is not right period! I just wish that many of the people that were so concerned with animal rights, were as concerned with the rights of the innocent child. But, I guess that is another area of discussion.

I think that we are... and it just makes us angry that when a poll is asking about cruelty to animals someone has to be nasty and state that they are not important... The poll is not about which do we value more or who we would help first... it is asking if you were in this situation what would you do... no child is even discussed.
