Tech news site Mashable is reporting the King of Rock’n'Roll is to
be resurrected as a hologram by the same company that brought rapper
Tupac back to life.
The Digital Domain Media Group is partnering with Core Media Group to
create the life-sized digital version of Elvis Presley. Digital Domain
is responsible for recreating Tupac for a show with rap artists Snoop
Dogg and Dr. Dre in April.
According to Mashable, the holograms are made possible using a
technology called “rotoscoping” in which artists’ old performances are
used to recreate them.
