From Cartagena Colombia ..

As if we've not been 'treated' .. to the various and sundry problems with the "Body Politic"
(including this Administration .. and its flitting all over the world ..)

From Colombia .. Secret Service Agents were 'engaging' in questionable Contacts/Antics
(to be polite here .. obviously -- it is quite a scandal indeed)
11 Agents are now placed on Administrative leave and sent HOME ..

It seems that not only is the Secret Service .. finding problems within their ranks ..
But also the Military Support Staff there is also finding PROBLEMS within its ranks too ..
(again .. questionable contacts/antics .. prostitution .. )

Seems now that the Summit of the Americas ..
Has gone on to become a /playground/ for the disreputable conduct of those charged with public positions of Trust ..
(and they've obviously forgotten their oaths, their codes of conduct .. their training)
Providing quite the 'DISTRACTION' (which is polite for calling this an illicit CIRCUS) instead ..

Needless to say .. I, as a Military Retiree myself ..
Am HORRIFIED, Embarrassed at the conduct of the Servicemembers involved in this Scandal at this time ..
(and yes, I, for one .. would like to see all face their day of punishment .. up to and including charges at Courts Martial if warranted)

Seems the ROT is becoming part and parcel ..
Of all that is involved in and around .. the 'Body Politic' ..

NOTHING like more farcical behavior .. in a troupe of farcical /body politics/ (and its support staff too)
Isn't it high time they all be held RESPONSIBLE For their Conduct .. their CHOICES ..
And have to /face the piper/ ..
(including up to loss of positions, perks, pensions, face charges in courts of law?)

Is this the /change/ everyone wanted?
I HOPE NOT!

When you are overseas, working for the Government, paid by the taxpayers, you REPRESENT the United State of America, whether you are on-duty or off-duty. This behavior only undermines the opinion of the USA in the eyes of the world. Hopefully discipline will be severe!

the morals of the service /"secret or military " the actions of the {P}rez ..in accordance w/ respect to the const . then farce w/ the gun scandal w/ mexico ...the farce of the ballots being counted in S America ...

and american being the laughting stock of the world . this president ... and his choices ....

'Sow to the wind...reap the whirlwind.' When the moral fabric, especially from the top down, is impregnated with various forms of lawlessness, (ignore or skirt constitution, chastise and bully Supreme court, attack anything Biblical etc., etc,) we more and more see 'breakouts' and 'breakdowns' like never before. Character matters. Standards are important. Integrity, values and old fashioned honesty should not be thrown to the wind nor tossed on the altar of political correctness....UNLESS...we are ready to see dangerous eruptions and breaches of security... for starters.

Service men and prostitution go hand and hand. . .I spent 6 years in the Navy. Regardless of rank or gender or Unit, I have seen it all. I knew Army guys that would spend all their money on whores and drinking in South Asia, just like Navy Guys.

They must have learned it from Bill Clinton. If you can't trust the Secret Service, who can you trust. My husband's cousin was a SS agent during Carter, Reagan and Clinton but he retired after 9-11.
