I do not see it as being used *against* average citizens. They would be used against CRIMINALS, people not doing anything wrong have no reason to worry. Or bitch and moan for that matter.

And who exactly would be the ones determining who/what "criminals" are? A "criminal" nowadays can be someone who just doesn't agree with what politicians or government do. That's a slippery slope, once you step onto it you won't be able to get back off again.

I don't see any reason why the drones couldn't be used in this country. It sounds like the drone was merely used for surveillance to determine if the armed family could be taken safely. They had threatened the authorities. The drone was not used to attack anyone. I think this is a tempest in a teapot.

Sadly, they're already in the works. Pretty scary stuff....it won't be long before average Americans are spied upon by companies and our own governments. I read some pieces on their development and use and believe me when I tell you it's proposal is insidious

I'm starting to wonder if we WILL be 'allowed' to vote Obama out of office, or if he'll declare Martial Law and declare himself Emperor... At this point, it's only a matter of making the decision. The infrastructure IS IN PLACE.

I believe that the only politician that can over turn the damage that has been done is Ron Paul. But I'm seriously afraid that the powers to be will do him like they did Kennedy ! I would take a bullet to protect a man like Ron.

They are being used on our Southern and Northern borders . They are also being used in many universities around the U.S. There are 63 launch sites throughout the U.S., so far, with many more planned in the future.

So true, one of the reasons why i think drones are more than likely already being put to use in the us.. they could bomb or attack and blame it on terrorists if they wanted to.
