4 more years of Republican rule may result in the destruction of the US economy or at least what George Bush didn't already destroy. If Mitt Romney wins America loses.

I am amazed at how little people know about the economy. These people are believing the lies that they have been told. They have no idea that what is happening is the mortgaging or the children future Tough decision need to be made and Obama is not going to make them. They know nothing about what is going on behind the scene. It is not only the debt that the government is running up but all the lending that the FED is doing that needs to be brought under control. The FED loans out our own money then collect interest from us on our own money. Obama has been throwing dollar away without the possibility of getting a return. There is going to be a shortage of grain this year and the price of food is going to go up. Why because we are using food to make ethanol. This needs to stop. It is not likely that Obama will do any of this.

I'm sure the drought has a lot to do with the price of food going up and the 'shortage'. Hey, didn't the Republicans recently block a bill that would help farming?
  • ☆stillt... Wilde~M... 2012/08/18 21:40:47
    ☆stillthe12c☆
Yes the drought is also adding to the cost of food. But if it were not for them using food for fuel it would not be effecting us as bad. Now even the Environmentalist are say that using food for fuel is worse on the environment that oil For some reason Congress is not acting on it. I think that it is the lobbyist that are holding them up.
Yes they did! I do not remember what the reasoning was, but the did do it. They wanted something different. But that is not going to effect our costs at this time.
    Thank You.

They always want something difference but never offer up a rational alternative, my guess is because they don't have one....
  • ☆stillt... Wilde~M... 2012/08/18 21:48:51

Sure they offer up sensible alternative many times. What you are saying is just not true.
If you wish to look at someone, take a look at Harry Reid in the Senate. He is the biggest problem in Congress.

Right, thats the typical meme from the conservatives, Harry Reid.
They never had sensible alternatives, they stuff their bills with other issues that have nothing to do with what the bill is about. For instance, writing up the flood bill and sneaking a person hood clause in it. What does that have to do with floods???? You find that 'sensible'?
  • ☆stillt... Wilde~M... 2012/08/18 22:02:36

Actually both side have this practice of putting thing in bills that do not belong. That is not just a problem with Republicans.
See who did not bring the President budget and jobs bill to the Senate floor and declared them dead on arrival.
I am not big on the Republican party. I bash both sides for their failures. As far as I am concerned the Republican party is to far to the left and the Democrats are a bunch of communist.

Republican clauses usually have to do with taking something away or restricting the rights of others.
You HAVE to be kidding? With all due respect, making that assertion has me question your understanding of Communism and leftists.
What is 'left' about trying to take away a women's right to make decision about her body? What is 'left' about amending the Constitution to say Marriage is only between a men and women? The dems aren't communist as republicans aren't anywhere near the left!

I understand all to well what a communist and your take away for the rich and give it to the poor attitudes. How far away from this are you: Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country. This was a Democrat 50 year ago. Where are they today Communist except the call themselves Progressive which is the name the communist started using in the beginning of the 20th Century. At a minimum they are socialist, not that there is a different from a communist. Now we got all these Republicans that are trying to say they are conservative. When they had the chance to take over the banks and send in auditors and arrest the crooks that crashed the country and put them in jail both parties gave them money and let them slide starting with Bush then Obama. Now our Government owns part of a auto company and many banks. How many more companies are they going to take over. This nation is turning in to another Europe full of socialism and people that think they are owned something.

Secondly, I don't agree with anything you said
Lastly, you didn't explain how the Republicans are too far left but that's okay. I've heard plenty, thanks!

I never said you were anything up above about you. Did you happen to see something that fit.
The Republican passed a program to give drugs to seniors without a way to pay for it. That is to the left. They pushed to get more people in housing and had rules bent to do it. More left. They spent with out regard to staying with in a budget and drove up debt. These are liberal ways, not conservative. Then what did Bush do when we already had a problem with funding these programs he cut the employees fees by 2% which has further endanger SS and Medicare. Still they have not let the fees go up even though they know that the programs are under funded. Programs that they said were sound for the next 24 years a few years ago are now at a point that much is going to have to be cut drastically. Obama made it worse by taking $716 billion dollars from these programs over the next 10 years and they are say that Ryan is throwing grandma under the bus. Obama has already taken care of that. Bush doubled the nation debt in 8 years and Obama has already spent more than Bush and in less than half the time. Doing all this with a House that can control the purse strings and does not. They have allowed him to continue this spending., Yes I am aware that most of the spending was done wh...

The President threw away almost a trillion dollars on worthless companies and the house just stood by and complained. If they were conservative they would have said no Mr President, you are not going to waste the peoples money.

I'm from Wisconsin too. I've watched the career of this politico since he went off to Washington and have been amazed that someone who represents a district which has a large segment who lived and worked in an auto industry community, lost their jobs when the auto plant closed along with the parallel jobs, continues to be elected? He has voted against every initiative to help them thru these tough times but yet they still send him to represent them. Other than voting against them, he has only put his name on two Bills. One to rename a post office. go figure.
