It's official. The National Organization of Women has finally and completely rendered itself irrelevant. Its 84-year old co-founder, Sonia Pressman Fuentes dug the organization’s grave this week by attacking former First Lady Laura Bush for not being “feminist” enough. To make her point, she assembled 20 other like-minded and out-of-step women to oppose Mrs. Bush’s nomination for the “Alice Award.” The award is a special recognition bestowed by the Sewall-Belmont Women’s Suffrage Museum upon women who have made inroads representing the needs and rights of women.

my opinion is they are doing this because she is a conservative. No way do they want a Republican First Lady to win the award on this election year. She was a great first lady and did lots of things for women. It's really sad how political agendas play a role in just about everything.

NOTE: my last choice is for those that only stay dedicated to a party, no matter what the poll is about... I prefer a genuine poll, not a party line a.k.a. "Republican versus Democrat"

In my humble opinion, listening to the rantings of self proclaimed feminists drops your IQ by roughly 10 points for every month of exposure. Many of their organizations operate essentially like a religious cult.
