People please … your fear, your hate, your misunderstanding of our Constitution, is ruining this country by moving us towards a national ID card system …

Are you aware of the “standard identifier” data being embedded into the new driver’s licenses? Currently, all states are preparing to issue new driver’s licenses embedded with standard identifier data – a national ID card with new tracking technologies means a world of no privacy.

People the federal government must be held accountable and made to end its war on the privacy rights of American citizens and the prerogatives of state governments.

A little more than 12 years ago, the House of Representatives killed this ill-conceived plan. A plan that would prevent Americans from getting new jobs, boarding airplanes or exercising their Second Amendment rights.

Then 8 years ago (2004) the 9/11 Commission report recommended a federal identification card once again and even made it worse by introducing a “larger network of screening points” inside the United States. Do you wish to have “screening points” inside our country where American citizens will be required to “show their papers” to government officials?

People a National ID will do very little to make us more secure. It will also have little effect on an already corrupt voting system …

It will, however, make us less free. This is just another governmental Trojan horse. It pretends to offer needed safeguards, but does it? It looks to me that it will just be a continuation of force placed upon Americans. It will require sacrificing what is uniquely American: our constitutionally protected liberty.

The DEM/GOP Progressive Party is initiating a national ID card by mandating that states include certain minimum identification standards on driver’s licenses will contain no limits on the governments’ power to impose additional standards. It will give authority to the Secretary of Homeland Security to unilaterally add requirements as he sees fit.

Pointing out a less-publicized issue of the legislation, Section 102 of the Real ID Act would allow the Secretary of Homeland Security to seize property within 100 miles of any U.S. border. Please understand this means the seizure of land without regard to law and due process which presently violates the principles of judicial supremacy and due process.

National ID Cards Won’t Stop Terrorism, Illegal Immigration, or Voting Fraud. The REAL ID Act establishes a massive, centrally-coordinated database of highly personal information about American citizens: at a minimum their name, date of birth, place of residence, Social Security number, and physical characteristics. The legislation also grants open-ended authority to the Secretary of Homeland Security to require biometric information on IDs in the future. This means your harmless looking driver’s license could contain a retina scan, fingerprints, DNA information, or radio frequency technology. In case you are unaware, radio frequencies do NOT shut off … you will be transmitting data 24/7 to the government.

People ... the National ID card is un-constitutional and part of a fear-based government. The more they fear us the more they will seek ways to restrict our liberties.
