FDR's Communist Inspired New Deal; Death Blow To Constitutional Republic?

William Engdahl crushes conventional thought about the success of the new deal, and gives insights into its communist roots. Considering the historical account of the new deal, we see the demonization of capitalism and a drastic move toward a communist collective society by a Messianic FDR.

Communism, born of Lenin's Russia, is also shown to be the birth of the progressive movement that is being perpetrated in our democrat party today. Communism was the cause of the recent financial meltdown of Russia, and we are in the grips of the final days of its failure in our country as well. Its has been shown to be a failed system of government time and time again, yet the power hungry among us looking to satisfy their lust for power, continue to resurrect it under the name of democracy.

The bastardizing of our constitutional republic, I believe began with FDR. If we are to return to this republic, we must first find how we got to this out of control, bankrupt federal government that has little resemblance to our constitutional republic Once we identify how we got here, then hopefully we can find our way back to the freedom and prosperity given to us by our founding fathers in the form of this republic.

Execerts from Engdahl's Some Convential Reflections on the Great Depression and the new Deal

A careful reading of Roosevelt's First Inaugural is revealing for how openly it lays out the social planning agenda of the small circle of his Brain Trust advisers at the onset of his New Deal. Roosevelt continued his Biblical analogy, which of course, implicitly places FDR in the role of Jesus who chased the money changers: "We may now restore that temple to the ancient truths. The measure of the restoration lies in the extent to which we apply social values more noble than mere monetary profit. Happiness lies not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joys of achievement...The joy and moral stimulation of work no longer must be forgotten in the mad chase of evanescent profits."

Had Roosevelt not ended his Presidency as a victorious war President, he would instead be remembered as the President whose policies all but ruined the inherent economic vitality of the American economy for decades after.

In his Presidential acceptance speech in 1932, Roosevelt promised "a new deal for the American people." The term was taken from a 1932 book by the same name, "A New Deal," written by Stuart Chase. That book rapidly disappeared from the shelves after Roosevelt's election. Its contents were the currency of White House economic policy discussion by Tugwell and other central planners around the new President

Much of Chase's book was filled with fulsome praise for Stalin’s Russian model of central planning and its achievements, reflecting the fascination of numerous younger American intellectuals in the early 1930's.

This is retarded, and I would expect nothing left from William Engdahl, who has whored himself out to the highest bidder since abandoning his former work, where he worked with economist and statesman Lyndon H. LaRouche. If you think FDR was bad for America, I can only ask if you think that the people he fought were good? London and Wall Street puppets Mussolini and Hitler......

The tyranny of the elite is essentially what we are getting by not controlling the actions of big corporations. It's utterly ridiculous that a corporation is considered a "Person"! Who in the hell were the courts looking out for when they made that ruling!?

I read New Deal, Raw Deal and was appalled. I knew that FDR was bad but I had no idea how bad he was. Revised history always tells a different tale.

UNfortunately, it didn't start with FDR. It started way long before that, with TR. That was when the PROGRESSIVE" movement got a foothold in our country. FDR just expanded on it. When we finally realise that it's the progressive movement started by TR, then Wilson expanded it some more, then we had FDR, we've been on this downhill slide since then. They were the ones who started this "class envy" that we are now reaping the consequences. It will take one hell of a revolution to bring us back to the CONSTITUTION that our founding fathers envisioned.

People need to look more at the hidden agendas that have been going on for decades. Does anyone really believe that registering guns is going to protect anyone or save lives? Does anyone believe that it is going to stop criminals from getting guns? The government fears the public uniting and organizing against them. They don't worry about the criminals because they can never get organized by one leader. Criminals by nature are individualists.

The purpose is to show the government where to go get the guns in case the people do choose to revolt.

Our education system, media etc...... are all designed to teach us to be mindless robots who don't know how to think.

We are pushed to be a consumer oriented society and that we have to have all of our luxuries so that we abecome so afraid of losing these things that we won't oppose them.

They try to brainwash us into believing that we can not make it without the government to take care of us. They don't want us to believe that they are superior to us and that we have no chance against them. They control the money, the banks, the laws, etc....
Most people fall for that kind of b/s. They don't want us to realize that without the people they are nothing.....

what would happen if say for 1 or 2 days every person did not go to work or buy anything

Speaking of work ethic and personal responsibility, don't think for a minute that labor unions don't play a large role in all of this.

I use to think unions were a good thing fighting for workers rights, but once they began to be completely unreasonable with their demands to the point that it impacted other Americans I realized it was wrong. The Dems supposedly care about the status of all Americans, but then back the unions which have policies that hurt the majority of all Americans to benefit a few.

The American auto industry is failing because of unions. The pay and benefits that the unions demanded for their workers raised the price of cars to the point that most Americans began buying imports.
