It should becoming apparent to everyone by now, that under the proposed plan championed by the left, that people under the radar will have more rights than people who are citizens. That people under the radar will qualify for goodies, while citizens will have their finances and health records scrutinized. That people under the radar can do whatever they want, while citizens will be monitored rather closely.

I will fathom the unconstitutionally of the whole setup, before I can even get to the hypocrisy.

Ever see the Commonwealth of Virginia's seal? I think it is fitting to show here.

If you're born in American soil you're a natural born American citizen. Birthright is proof
  • RobJohn Bella 2012/02/05 16:41:42 (edited)
Birth on American soil, by itself, is not sufficient to make you a "natural born" American.

Status as a natural-born citizen of the United States is one of the eligibility requirements established in the United States Constitution for election to the office of President or Vice President. This requirement was an attempt to allay concerns that foreign aristocrats might immigrate to the new nation and use their wealth and influence to impose a monarchy.

The Constitution does not define the phrase natural-born citizen, and various opinions have been offered over time regarding its precise meaning. The Congressional Research Service has stated that the weight of scholarly legal and historical opinion indicates that the term means one who is entitled under the Constitution or laws of the United States to U.S. citizenship "at birth" or "by birth," including any child born "in" the United States (other than to foreign diplomats serving their country), the children of United States citizens born abroad, and those born abroad of one citizen parent who has met U.S. residency requirements.

Very wrong, birth on American soil makes anyone a natural born citizen. See constitution and 14th amendment.
  • BornToB... Bella 2012/02/05 19:56:14 (edited)
WRONG! Must not forget certain sections which defines that which is stated under the Constitution! Birth on US soil makes you within the jurisdiction of the US
Citizenship is mentioned in Article 1, Section 2, Article 1, Section 3, Article 1, Section 8, Article 2, Section 1, and in the 14th Amendment and several subsequent amendments.
  • RobJohn Bella 2012/02/07 00:32:37
Nope, being a citizen or resident is not the same as being natural born.
  • Bella RobJohn 2012/02/07 07:30:17
A natural born citizen is a citizen. There are Only 2 ways to be a citizen of the united states, natural born or naturalization; Obama is a natural born citizen.
  • BornToB... Bella 2012/02/05 19:37:42
but what if that child belonged to illegal parents who have no intention to apply for or become American Citizens? There is a big problem within the birth records between legal American births and illegal births!
  • Bella BornToB... 2012/02/06 05:09:14
What the heck is an illegal birth
  • BornToB... Bella 2012/02/07 00:26:49

Thats because the Democrats are pandering the Latino voters for votes! Have you noticed that all of our Politicians keep saying our immigration laws need to be reformed, but not one of them has even mentioned first securing our borders to stop any more illegals from entering, this is the same thing they said when Reagan gave them citizenship in the Eighty's !
  • JanHopkins 2012/02/05 15:57:54
It's difficult to come up with a response for this. I'm still thinking about it.
