I whole heartedly agree with Rush... Obama just changed his position based on 2 simple facts. You know facts, those things that Progressive Regressives ignore?
1. His political PACs and Super PACs are funded largely by Gay People and his contributions are WAY DOWN
2. He needs to have an adversarial means to attack Romney and Conservatives because he certainly can't debate on his RECORD.

He announced this to get money for the campaign as contributions from the gay community fell off and they are a major contributor. So he pisses off the Christians and gets his money.

War takes two sides. If those who are against same-sex marriages (even though they wouldn't be performed in their church's halls of injustice) would like to turn it into a war, then that's their choice. It's not like a same-sex marriage, outside of their religion, is going to hurt them. That's why it's so sad that so many demented people back DOMA.

To a degree Rush could be right about this one. It is a well known fact that the Christian segment of society is almost in a state of paralysis over anything that has shades of American society and Christianity being at odds with each other.
So the potential to make political inroads into the pocket books of the gay community is too good to pass up. 0bama knows that if he wins the next election he can 'just kiss and make up' with the Christian community for he has stated that he is a Christian also and he will be forgiven for his moral transgressions for the sake of political expediency.
