Suddenly the democrats aren’t so giddy about their irresponsible and costly takeover of the health care industry….

Now even Rep. Anthony Weiner, one of its staunchest supporters, says that he was looking into a waiver for New York City.

Weiner, who is likely to run for mayor of New York, said that because of the city’s special health care infrastructure, his office was looking into alternatives that might make more sense. Weiner is one of the health care law’s biggest supporters; during the debate leading up to reform, he was one of the last holdouts in Congress for the public option.

Mark Levin talked about Weiner’s waiver hypocrisy last night.

The Obama Administration has already granted over 1,000 waivers for their crappy bill including one to the State of Maine.

A conservative group with ties to Karl Rove sued HHS on Wednesday to gain access to documents detailing how the department decides who gets the waivers.

How about a waiver for EVERYONE? How bout we just call this bill unconstitutional and throw it on a trash heap? Weiner is a hypocrite. Nancy Pelosi said, ''they had to pass it in order to find out what is in it'' I guess they finally read it and they do not like what is says. Good Lord.

My idea is for every state to apply for exemption based on hardship! At the rate they are handing out exemptions, THAT should essentially kill the bill!!!!!!!!

No liberal or any state that voted in a liberal should get any kind or waiver for obama care. To have the man that touted having written the bill and said he owns it should not only have his state be mandated to have it but he himself should be mandated to have the bill.

It's pretty funny that the supporters of the bill are finally starting to come around to the idea that maybe, just maybe, the bill is a stinker that doesn't work like they thought it would. 1,000 waivers (including an entire state) is pretty bad. Seems to me that granting waivers makes the whole thing Unconstititutional (not that that is the only thing making it Unconstitutional), since we are all guaranteed equal protection according to the 14th Amendment.

It would be a lot funnier if it was happening somewhere else. It's amazing how little the people making the laws care about whether or not the laws they make are even legal. "Well, whatever, we need to do something, so who cares if the Constitution disagrees with it...I mean, who went and made the Constitutiton the supreme law of the land, anyway?"

It's not just him, though. It's all of our past presidents, post-WWII. Almost none of the military action since then has been authorized by Congress, and none of it has been about defending America. Congress has completely abandoned their responsibilities when it comes to protecting the citizens of America from unneccessary wars.
