Even folks on the left are starting to realize that Obama is capable of massive lies, like a petulant child, to get his way. One group is calling the president a liar publicly.

The Bold Progressives PAC, an uber-left political action committee, is letting America know they are fed up with President Obama. They say Obama lied when he claimed he did not campaign for the public option, and that he stepped back from his campaign pledge to torpedo any health care bill that doesn’t include one.

The Bold Progressives put their money behind their claims and created an ad that calls Obama a liar.

According to Politico, the Bold Progressives PAC is “one of the most aggressive defenders of the public option.” They are the extreme left of left. Think red sickle.

Despite their moonbat ideas, the progressives are right. The fact is, Obama lied. He did campaign for the public option (as ABCs Jake Tapper noted recently), and he has abandoned the far left with his support of Reid's current health care bill.

Why would he do that? Conservatives argue that Obama dumped the public option idea now for a larger, more strategic reason: a complete government take over of our health care system.

Obama is smart enough to know that if this health care reform bill gets passed now, in any form, it is a necessary first step to a total government take over of our health care system. A public option will come eventually, and Obama knows this. Perhaps he figures that the far left will forgive him, when they see his larger plan fits in lockstep with theirs.

In the meantime, moderate Democrats are being unwittingly lured into Obama's larger plan. They would do better to pay attention to the folks crying foul on their extreme left: If Obama can lie to them, he can lie to moderates, too.
