Just Some Real Facts About Mitt Romney That We Will Not Hear About From The Lame Stream Media About The Real Mitt Romney!

Mitt Romney:

After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar, but never worked as an attorney.

As a venture-capitalist, Romney's first major business deal involved investing in a start-up office supply company with one store in Massachusetts that sold office supplies. That company, called Staples, now has over 2,000 stores and employs over 90,000 people.

Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the "Bain Way") would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.

Got your calculators handy? Let's recap.

Volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.

Unpaid intern in Governor's office 8 years.

Mormon missionary in Paris 2 years.

Unpaid bishop and state president for his church 10 years.

No salary as president of the Olympics 3 years.

No salary as MA governor 4 years.

That's a grand total of 28 years of unpaid service to his country, his community and his church. Why? Because that's the kind of man Mitt Romney is!

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income....obama gave 1%

Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%

This is real character vs....well you know what!

Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or squander my money on vacations. I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the "Spending President" has gotten us into. We didn't know that when Obama said he'd give us change, he meant nickels and dimes, and he would get the big bucks. We won’t like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney’s background can do it.

But, on the minus side, He never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot. Never got drunk. Did not associate with communists or terrorists. Nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

You!

In short .... Romney has the exact skills this country needs right now ... pretty much everything 0bozo lacks.

Yes, he knows how to turn a business around, but his primary goal is to help himself; as a person who runs a business, the best way to do that is to make sure the business does well, and the best way to do that is to make sure the customers are happy; the same pressures do not exist in politics unfortunately--a lot of times you do not need to do what's best for the people in order to get reelected--you just need to trick them into thinking you're better than the other side.

Romney should stay a businessman; we need someone who will fight for our freedoms as President.

You say he's a communist but I argue that he's actually just a crony capitalist; he supports his backers in big business just fine.

This man has no issue with the existence of money as long as he can use it to get reelected and then give tons of taxpayer money to his constituents in big business, GE being a great example.

You listed the exact qualities that are desperately needed to get this economy back on track then somehow try to paint Romney as someone who isn't up to the task.

Don't you get it....? If we don't turn this place around licklity split, our freedoms wont matter.... there wont be anything left to fight for.

We've had 3-1/2 years of WORDS..... the words 'job creation' contained in every sentence and nothing has happened. We need ACTION... no more WORDS.

No, because he's not going to help the middle class; he will only help those that benefit himself--such as other political elitists. He also lies through his teeth.

Did you forget that he created Romneycare, a program very similar to Obamacare which ruined healthcare in his home state?

Did you forget that he promised to not raise taxes yet did so and simply called them penalties and government fees?

Elect someone who won't lie and won't take away our freedoms; elect someone we can trust.

Quit with the unsubstantiated talking points. I've had it up to my eyeballs.

First, Romney's health-care plan was a STATE issue... NOT a national; plan and it happened to be what the people who elected him wanted. That's what Governors do, represent the wishes of their constituents.
The state was drowning in an overabundance of Medicaid costs.

I keep hearing this crap that Romney is only out for himself and his buddies.
You couldn't be further from the truth and need to do some actual research about what the man has accomplished and how generous he has been.

If he was so concerned about the almighty dollar he would have stuffed his inheritance in the bank.... but he didn't. He made his own money and has more than he'll ever be able to spend in a lifetime.
He has no interest in making his stack as tall as Bill gates and isn't even in that league.

He walked into a $3Billion shortfall in Massachusetts and got the state back on track. Did some of the wealthy people take a hit and have to pay a little more tho register their $60,000 Lexus? Sure they did. They hired him to do a job and then got pissed off that he did it.

You can't please everyone but he did what he could in a heavily blue state working with a predominately blue legislation.

THAT's another thing we need in DC right now. So...

THAT's another thing we need in DC right now. Somebody who has experience working with both sides and getting something accomplished. Not "My way or the highway" like some isolationists who have spent decades in Congress and haven't accomplished squat.

It may have been a state issue but it was created with the support of Ted Kennedy and has a lot of the same practices as the federal version; I don't care if it's the state or the federal government--I don't want the government telling me that I have to buy into a program.

It's also a fact that while he promises to not raise taxes he did so by calling it penalties, which is exactly what the Obama administration has done.

I'm a moderate libertarian actually; I feel that both the Republicans and the Democrats are authoritarian scum that are destroying our freedom. Obama and Romney have more in common than they do in contrast; the points they have that differ are often to keep their respective voter base complacent.

And that would be whom? At this point, we can choose between Romney and Obama. As awful as you seem to think Romney is, do you think Obama is a better choice?

As awful as being shot in your left leg is do you think being shot in your right leg is a better choice? It's a pointless question; they're both scum. I won't vote for either candidate. If more people like you woke up from the training you've received then neither would you.
