http://www.policymic.com/articles/7660/ron-paul-embarrasses-r...As some of you know, I am a Ron Paul supporter. However, I have been vocally promoting getting Ron Paul into the highest office available. I based my view on the delegate count and yet, somethings very wrong with the way the delegates have been counted.
Louisiana held it's election on March 24th and only 15 delegates were counted of which Romney got 5 and Santorum received 10... Gingrich and Paul got 0
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/republ...
But wait a minute, Louisiana was allocated 46 delegates by the RNC and the process of deciding who gets those delegates was not over... now it is and Ron Paul just won most of those delegates
http://www.policymic.com/articles/7660/ron-paul-embarrasses-r...In fact, Romney and his handlers are rushing to do damage control learning he was soundly defeated in a state he thought he came in second on to Santorum. Romney won 8% of the delegates and Ron Paul won 74% of the delegates.
And guess what... it's not the only state where all the delegates were not completely counted and many are non committed meaning they can still change their choice by the time the candidates get to Tampa.
No one is providing the real delegate count and those counting them admit they are "guessing" based on voter turn out. Unfortunately, the popular vote doesn't matter in regard to the delegate count and that's how the media is processing information... who gets the most votes gets the most delegates.
Remember the 2000 elections when Gore won the popular vote but Bush jr won the Presidency based on the electoral vote count? (thanks to Jeremiah for making me aware of a slip in terminology)
Remember how we were told the popular vote actually doesn't count except that many delegates are often awarded based on the popular vote?
It turns out that Ron Paul does in fact possess many more delegates than the media is counting and Mitt Romney has far fewer than the media is claiming.
He will carry this battle all the way to Tampa, he's still getting donations, he is financially in the black and some of the biggest states with the most delegates to offer have not even voted as yet.
Even FOX News is admitting Ron has enough wins to qualify to reach Tampa and ate some crow admitting states they claimed Romney won had actually been won by Ron Paul.
Mitt Romney is a Liberal Republican pretending to hold Conservative views. He at times slips up stating "former" views as current views revealing he is lying about his supposed new Conservative views.
Then we have the left leaning media as why aren't they attacking the Republicans over the delegate count? Well, some of them are just as some at FOX are revealing that Ron Paul has many more delegates than is being reported and Romney has far fewer than is being reported.
It could even be that Ron Paul has more delegates than Romney because the current delegate count reported by the media is based on the popular vote which has nothing to do with the delegate count and after Louisiana's final tally came in... I have to agree with the more rabid Ron Paul supporters as it is very clear Ron Paul has many more delegates than the media is reporting.
How can they count only 15 delegates knowing Louisiana has 46 delegates? The only way is they knowingly and completely lied about it. In fact, on March 24th there were 20 delegates up for grabs but only 15 were counted meaning Gingrich and Paul must have won them... or just Ron as 5 delegate votes weren't even counted
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/LA-R denying Gingrich or Paul even the few that were up for grabs as the people counting the delegates wanted Romney or Santorum to win them.
As i have steadfastly stated, I will only vote if Ron Paul is the Republican Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate but I was mistaken in my views Ron doesn't have a chance to be President as state by state he has in fact been winning more delegates than has been reported by the media.
While people are saying Ron should bow out, the reality is he has every reason to continue because we could be in for one of the biggest upsets in US political history considering the delegate count has been falsely played by the media and it is now clear Ron Paul is gaining delegates and could actually beat Romney.
More power to ya Ron and in Tampa, let's hope the true delegate count is made public as the Republican system is a mess and it seems only you understand it... but then, you are the most experienced political leader in the race and the most intelligent.
Ron Paul has the youth vote and the military vote in his favor... the rest just want to beat Obama so the Republicans are willing to elect a Liberal Republican who caves to the left over a Democrat whose voting record makes him look like a rightwing extremist having supported everything Bush wanted in his second term even voting for Bush legislation through cloture... ironic isn't it that Democrats support a lying candidate pretending to be a Liberal and Republicans support a lying candidate pretending to be a Conservative.
Maybe both sides should support Ron Paul, the only candidate in the race with a reputation from friend and foe alike as being the most honest man in Washington DC.
Telling it like it is, the suicide rate among American soldiers is still high and the reason is the lack of morale and not understanding the purpose for being there. Most of these young people signed up for a free education provided by the military and did not consider the consequences... or hoped they would be stationed in places where conflict wasn't happening. These people aren't cowards and if they are, then somethings seriously wrong with our military that it could not weed out these people. I don't think they are cowards, I think they are confused and lost as when you are in a dangerous situation risking your life for a cause you can't even understand, it creates a situation where people panic and people who never imagined they would ever take a human life find it difficult when they are put in a position where they have no choice. We see this in civilian society where someone kills another person in self defense and they become mentally ill.
Ron is telling it like it is and he's the only one addressing the real issues this nation faces where Obama and Romney are giving us the same old propaganda we've heard for the past 40 years. We keep electing leaders like Bush jr, Obama and Romney as President when they have virtually no real experience in politics or they are con men with little or no real leadership ability.
If Ron Paul isn't the President or VP, Obama will win the Presidency because most of Ron's supporters believe in the man where as the rest of America only believes in beating the other side.
Ron won in Louisiana because his supporters continued to support him after the election was over. That is also how they won in Iowa after Romney and then Santorum were claimed as winning.
If you believe in this country... you have to support more than just winning the election, you MUST support leaders who have proven longterm leadership ability and Ron Paul is the only candidate with real qualification to be President!
Vote however you want... but true Americans will vote for leadership ability and not just to beat the other side!
Good post, and I hope that it will wake some people up, although I fear it will not. It will most likely just piss a lot of people off.
But when people see me admit I was wrong, they generally make note as i rarely have to admit being wrong lol.
I have made it a point to familiarize myself with the process. I have stayed on top of the Paul websites. I have seen the efforts behind the scenes. I was aware of what was going to happen before Paul ever announced. In fact, if you check back, I posted that Paul was running before his official announcement. Some 3 months prior.
I too, on occasion have to admit being wrong. But as in the case of any good judge,
it must be by a preponderance of the evidence at hand.
Personally, I think that it was a mistake for the Paul campaign to let the cat out of the bag prematurely as to the delegate strategy. It unfortunately gave the GOP time to prepare and make illegal strides to thwart their efforts. Fortunately, because the Paul supporters are so adamant and stalworthy adversaries, it was all for naught and most involved will be labeled outcasts from now on.
The good news is, no matter what mistakes in judgment may have been made, the Revolution is alive and well, and the outcome is still wide open.
I'm sure Ron had a reason like maybe seeing Santorum as the real threat because he had fewer weaknesses and maybe voters would catch on to Romney sooner or later. But it's still a mystery to me about that as I subscribe to a couple of his newsletter (his and supporters) and it was Santorum all the time.
But it's never too late and Ron's message is actually winning over people who support Obama and Romney... but the big deal here is that most polls are of Republicans and Democrats with only a few Independents, and I bet you a lot of those Independents are going for Ron since they really don't have one of their own unless Roseanne barr actually counts lol.
No one was or is seeing Romney as a conservative. Nothing really to expose. He is already known for his flip flopping even by the media. He is only a threat because the GOP is propping him up. He will not get the majority vote if he is the nominee. Too many people will not take the lesser of two evils twice in a row, simply to remove the one they know.
Paul is the only viable chance of taking 0vomit out. He has the true support, no matter what the polls are saying.
My eyes are open finally and I'm back on board the Tea Party Express as Ron must be our next President as we cannot stand another four years of leadership by people with little or no proven leadership ability.
Nice try, but I will post my thoughts whenever I want to on this site.
