Executive privilege exerted again...This time over the refusal to release all of the requested "Fast & Furious" documents to Congress...Is this a wise move by the Obama administration?

I would like to know why the Oblah blah administration put guns in the hands of drug runners.

If it had been your son killed by guns furnished by the fast and furious fiasco, I doubt you would have such a devil may care attitude.

Why doesn't Congress move on and focus on the problems this country is facing? They've been harping on this issue for a year now, have found nothing illegal, time they move on and let it go.

The Fast & Furious scheme was fundamentally stupid. It should have been obvious to anyone with half a high school education too many people were too deeply involved in too many felonies for all the secrets to be kept. The simple degree of complexity guaranteed the scheme would see the light of day in short order. In general, the stupider the scheme, the higher its point of origin in the feral government food chain.

He also expects everyone to believe that he cannot remember any e-mail exchanges with his key aides about the issue, even though they were deeply involved in various aspects of the deadly operation.

Even in light of the fact that the gun-walking operation has led to the deaths of both Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in 2010 and U.S. Immigration Agent Jaime Zapata in 2011, as well as to the deaths of as many as 300 Mexican citizens, Mr. Holder still refuses to comply

As Executive Privilege could only be used by OblameO if he was in the documents himself, this tells me one of two things. Either He knew about it and helped to cover it up OR Holder has something on him that Holder used to force him. Either way, Obama is trying to hide something.

Hopefully, Grassley and his committee will be able to keep Obama so busy expalining why he would assert EP for documents he claims he has never seen nor was not aware of their existence.....since knowledge of those documents is tantamount to qualifying for EP, that campaigning will now be out of the question.

In retrospect, it now puts Obama in a situation where he is going to have to explain just what he knows and when he knew it.

But Mr.Holder told Issa that even though some materials are classified,that he would make provisions to hand them over anyway. This is something Issa was demanding knowing the rules. Issa thought Holder was going to put up a fight about turning classified papers over. Holder said Ok, I'll turn them over to you and Issa said no. In my opinion, this is just another way to try and bring Obama down by the republican's This gun deal was going on when Reagan was in office, remember the Iran contraband and Oliver North, America's hero

The papers Holder offered to turn over were not the ones asked for. Issa and the commity wants specific documents, ones they know are there and tell what happened. Also your statement about the Iran contra affair is (while I believe the wrong to do) is like apples and oranges. The comparison of freedom fighters seeking democracy against a communist dictatorship and drug running gangsters is a far reach. Last, Reagan came forward and turned his information over.
