I don't ascribe to Darwin's techings but I'm sure some will chose him. My choice is Benjamin Franklin. There are many others who belong on this list. This is my question #200!

I believe that Nikola Tesla was by far the smartest person who ever lived. I can't believe Edison's on here and not him. He was Edison's pupil, and when Edison wasn't able to figure out a method to distribute power using DC power (cheaply) for his light bulb. Tesla stepped up and "BAM" we now have AC power and not that's not all, Edison's had promised to pay him a large bonus, and he didn't. So I think all y'all are retarded (Except the dude who put Morgan Freeman I like that Morgan Freeman), Tesla was the most brilliant human being that has ever lived and you can cry about it.

Leonard Euler. A lot of people were more influential, like Newton, and they didn't all need to be geniuses. Edison and Darwin in particular had hugely important ideas, but probably weren't much more intelligent than their compatriots. Euler, however, was a shockingly brilliant man - he could do things with numbers that nobody else could.

Einstein's I.Q. is so arcahmiquivelantly underestimated because he cannot be charted by perimephorical norms..Darwin to the contrary
is pseudoelevated into a superlatine strata to crediate his thesis.
    Einstein's progulation; 245-280, Darwin at 125-135.
prognosis: Einstein genius/ Darwin slightly gifted. incidentallly acadadentially achieved...King Solomon at 300-350 and Jesus of Nazareth a Vesuvi-amazent 1500!! Da vinci achieves a 160-180.

My Grandfather who surived the Depression raised his Kids took care of his Wife and taught me that a Man needs to be Honest, trust God, love your Wife, love your kids, give your job 100%, always balanced your monthly budget, always provided food/clothing and shelter for your Family, trust your friends and keep your ememies within sight, fight hard to protect what you believe in, always help those in need and dont be afraid because God will take you home soon. That is the smartest Person to me!!!!

Would have said all of the above, but you threw Darwin in. I am not into his idiocy and thought about my grandparents being knuckle walkers. Plus those who follow his reason of origin; are some of the most ignorant I have encountered.

If I added one it would be Albert Pike, He predicted 2 world wars and is on record as stating the third one would be in the Middle East

Freud was a true genius, I enjoyed studying him the most and I still quote him quite frequently.

The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is "What does a woman want?"

Dude that thought to use two limbs to stand, and see all sorts of new relationships.
Or Giotto, alone at the beginning of the Renaissance by a couple of hundred years, for having realized from the world class debates in Toledo, Spain around 1180 that they were missing something important: attention and acceptance of 'natural science'. A superstar in his life, we all owe this painter of Francis Assisi.
