that depends on his agenda - if he is converted to the right side - it could be a good thing - if not it could be anti american crap

It would be interesting to hear his speech . The more you know , the better off you are ! I'm sure his perspective will differ from others but an ex-terrorist may have changed his spots .

Absolutely I'd feel safe. Everyone knows he is going to be there as a speaker...it's not like a suicide bomber that just waits in line with you at a bus stop. This 'boogeyman' philosophy isn't going to do a darn thing to help this world situation any.

See, I'm a big believer in the fact that you can't learn anything listening to just those you agree with. You must know your enemy. Only those with closed minds refuse to listen to the other side. And what the extra security is for, and the threats to the Minister are from, is American extremists.

As I read your post, Blondie I realized that right next to it was the ad for the Rodney King thread. Leopards CAN change their spots, and when they do they might really have something to offer. Right out of Sun Tzu's book...know they enemy.

No one says you HAVE to go....I was just saying it could be really interesting TO go.

If he has confirmed to righteousness, and means no harm to the American people, if he is trying to clarify things in a positive way, what is the harm in listening to him? Everybody has a right to choose how they worship, praise and serve the Lord. Those who disagree have a right to worship in their way. Nothing is any greater than freedom!

Far be it from me to pass judgment on anyone, I know the hassels of being treated differently because you are different, from a different culture or even worship the Lord different. I watched a bio about one of the NFL players with the Saints, let me tell you, only a God in heaven could have brought the changes into his life, he had sunken to an all time low, but by the graceof God, he's made a big turn around in his life, it just shows that if your heart is in the right place good changes can come about. There's a lot of Blacks that do a lot of things, but we are all different, just like Whites, Muslims and other races of people. However, that being said you are entitled to how you feel, I thank God that the spirit of forgiveness is alive and well.

My concern is not them hurting any one on that noight. Mt=y Concern is what they will say at that church. Is there message going to be Black Liberation Theology which is essentially Rev White's message. It's the same old Marxism , but wrapped in a Jesus Christ package ..

I think in life, we all have done something that we regret, and there is always improvement in our lives. None of us are perfect, and thank God people do change.

Blondie you are entitled to the way you feel, but many people do things including kill for reasons that none of us know why. However, some of these people were put into situations, but some become better people because of the rehabilitation. Many people have gone into prison one way, and came out another, and I believe in the power of God, and I know that God can do the impossible, or the unthinkable, and nothing is to hard for him, not even to change the mind and heart of a terrorists. I just read an article written by a preacher, the title was "From Prison to The Ministry of God," he killed his wifes lover, his intent was to shoot in his leg, but he killed him. He is now the pastor of a very large Church, his congregation loves him, and he has a very strong following, because another pastor had it in his heart to see the good in this man, I think that there is some good in all of us dieing to get out. I work in a Muslim community, I find it very interesting to communicate with them, and we discuss the bible, and another thing being a Black person, I am well aware of rejection and being compared to the actions of other Blacks who's way of living is nothing like mine. People, (including terrorist) change and I believe that from my heart, and I know that they like Blacks, White...
