Even the Fox News Poll Shows Obama's Lead Growing: Is Romney Losing the Attack Ad War?

President Obama opened up a 9-point lead in the most recent Fox News poll. Looks like all the negative ads and character assassination tactics are working. Negative ads may be bad for the American political landscape, but they seem to be working for Obama, at least for now. Do you think Romney will lose the game of hardball -- or will he rebound and win just in time for the election?

FOXNEWS.COM reports:
The president would take 49 percent of the vote compared to Romney's 40 percent in a head-to-head matchup if the election were held today, the poll found.

The Obama campaign is spending more than it's taking in on attack ads...Romney hasn't really begun to attack Obama and his campaign has plenty of cash on hand, September and October will see the onslaught against Obama begin and he'll be underfunded to respond.

Nope, but Obama didn't start it. What many Repugs never seem to get is once any law or some expense starts, it doesn't just go away when the next president gets swown into office. Obama inherited the huge cost of Bush's stupid Iraq war that the little chimp kept off the books and never paid for. Same with the cost of the giving the rich a 10 year plus 10% tax cut. Just those two items have busted the budget and are responsible for over 2 trillion of the deficit. Put the blame where it belongs on the idiot Bush, who also never vetoed a single spending bill in his entire 8 years. How's that for doing the math?

I make triple figures, earn every penny of it, and I have no shelters. Frankly, I think I'm Taxed Enough Already.

You if you really make a triple figure income (highly doubtful) and you don't know how to shelter some of it from taxes, then you're not too swift are you.

You see the point isn't that Romney and others use tax dodges, rather that tax dodges exist in the first place.

And losing big time. Picking Paul Ryan, Mr. Crazy Ayn Rand worshiper, who wants to destroy the Medicare system by making senior citizens pay through the nose for heath care, automatically puts Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio ( the 3 states with the highest number of seniors) right into the Obama column . Romney lost the election as of today.
The fact that even Catholic nuns have condemned Ryan's budget as unchristian and cruel isn't going to help him either. 2670

Send your moronic charts to the seniors of Florida and tell them their new voucher system is going to cover their health care costs when it will add 10, 000 a year they cannot afford to pay, and see how they feel about it. You're naive if you think that your silly charts can compete with their fear of losing their health care coverage. This assures Obama's victory. You schmuck Republicans never learn do you? Especially not you wing nut Republicans who think the whole country agrees with your extremist ideas and they don't.

You sitting down? Here's a reality check. Everybody grows older. So sooner or later if you live long enough you get Social Security and most opt for Medicare. Attacking that is political sucide.

One way to easily and painlessly increase revenue for these programs is to get rid of the FICA taxable limit that right now has a ceiling of about $170,000 so it only applies to the rich. Remove this limit and tax ALL income and the rich cough up a greater share, they won't miss it and the SS program gains tens if not hundreds of billions every year. Now that's what Congress should do and right now!

Just try taking Medicare, Medicaid and cutting Social Security ,the third rail of American politics , and see what happens to your already almost defunct party. I dare you, go ahead, just try it. I won't mind seeing your party decimated in the least, maybe then the normal people will take your party back instead of turning it over to extremist freaks like you.

Monopolism is a system of extortion based on ownership of technology and the means of production. Monopolism is facilitated by intellectual property rights, especially the patent system, to eliminate consumer choice and keep markets captive so that businesses not only survive but prosper well beyond what the free market would normally bare. As long as consumer/worker choice has no impact on the success or failure of a business, none if it's wealth is earned.

I agree. Seniors were leaning towards Romney in some polls. Now with the architect of lets destory Medicare so we can give even more tax breaks to the rich and corporations on the ticket they probably lost three states from their "must win" column. I can see the Dems now licking their chops and dreaming up some ads explaining how Ryan wants to screw over seniors. Really dumb since seniors are one of the most determined voter blocks that vote.

You're talking about half-ass voucher program. The part you didn't bring up is such a program would cost the average senior citizen between 5-10K a year which would mean many seriors would be faced with the horrible choice of ignoring the illness, not going to doctors, having operations they need, cutting back on meds or choosing between that and eating or paying to heat their homes, play the utilites bill and so on. SHAMEFUL considering again the super rich under Ryan's plan would rake in thousands.

I'd say paying 29% of both our incomes when Romney payed 13.9 % is paying my fair share, jerk off. And what is $ 25000.0 by the way? If you meant slightly less than $ 250,000. you would be accurate but what that figure of yours is , I have no idea. Not only are you hopeless politically, but you obviously don't even know where to put coma and decimal points either.
BTW. How are you communicating with me when you blocked me months ago?

LMFAO! Sorry to burst your zero-sum IQ, Jethro, but "mopping" is spelled with two "p's", not one.

The word "unknowledgeable" can be found in most college-level dictionaries. It means possessing or exhibiting knowledge, insight, or understanding; intelligent; well-informed; discerning; perceptive. All of the characteristics that you apparently lack. Of course, the fact that the word is found in college-level dictionaries might explain why you've never heard of it. With brain damage like yours, I seriously doubt that you ever graduated high school.
