If Bush had gotten OBL the Republicans would by trying to put him on Mnt Rushmore and mint a new coin in his honor. Their constant whining now makes them look even more petty.

Yes, Mitt, Jimmy Carter would have done the same and would have gone after Bin Laden. Jimmy Carter put his entire presidency on the line trying to rescue the American hostages in Iran. The operation failed, and he lost the presidency. George W. Bush, however, refused to take such a risk for Bin Laden at Tora Bora, and bin Laden escaped. He also refused three different opportunities to get Abu Musab Al Zarqawi before the invasion of Iraq, leaving Zarqawi to kill hundreds of American soldiers.

Romney sounds just like Dubya. He said OBL wasn't worth going after, and criticized President Obama for stepping up operations in Pakistan. So, when Mitt says he would have done the same, it's hard to take this guy seriously. Dragging Jimmy Carter into this was unnecessary and over the top. When Romney goes off script he really does manage to do himself damage. He's a joke.

The very fact that this question is being posed says much. The GOP appears to have nothing to offer that is rational and in the best interest of We the People; they answer only to their handlers on Wall Street.

Mission Accomplished. Gen. Frank's pacification plan dead, replaced by Condi's rushed plan that will make billions for Halliburton in no bid contracts. The rubes believed the spin about fighting terror in Iraq and we cashed out.

Yep, all one gets from the GOP is blatant hypocrisy. Can't you hear them if the bin laden mission failed. They would never shut up. Instead they are having a tantrum currently because they have lost their mantra from 2004 that Democrats, and now this president are weak on terror.

This must be in response to the tapes dug up with 0bozo in 2008 droning on & on about how discussing terrorism shouldn't be part of a campaign. Guess they forgot about those.

Fact is, those who were talking about America being safer in 2004 were pointing to a successful track record after we were blindsided by Clinton's numerous blunders that led to the attacks on 9/11. There were countless numbers of attacks both on U.S. soil, our embassies and military during Clinton's reign and only by shear luck has there been only a few since 0bozo usurped the office.

Obozo went out on the anniversary of OBL's demise and nearly broke his arm, patting himself on the back, which didn't go un-noticed by current & former SEALS, military officials who were part of the operation and Veterans, Nationwide.

The short film with Tom Hanks, Biden & others, talking about the 'gutsy call' which was viewed by most as a no-brainer, was easily debunked by those who were in the circle.
It has been revealed the an Admiral was actually in charge of the operation and the WH had previously crafted a memo designed to cover 0bozo's butt and blame it on others had the mission gone south. There has also been the revelation that the WH knew about OBL's location in October of 2010, yet held off taking action until ...

There has also been the revelation that the WH knew about OBL's location in October of 2010, yet held off taking action until it would be more politically advantageous.

Then came the commercial featuring Billy-Boy Clinton who has absolutely no business even mentioning OBL, or someone making the call he refused to do, so many times.
Even Arianna Huffiington was appalled by the commercial and referred to it as 'despicable'

So tell me, who was talking about their own achievements, and who tried to capitalize, and politicize a decade of hard work of others and take credit for the fruits of their diligence?

You stopped reading at "We the People" and picked up at the 13th amendment.

Guess what? Lincoln screwed you worse than you can imagine and our entire Nation has been paying the price ever since. MLK had the right idea but he didn't fit into the mold..... and the Democrats offed him.

    Wake up !!!

It's difficult for you to comprehend factual data but, I'll try again:

    I stopped reading your B.S. at "0bozo".

For you breathe any other distinction into that simple notion of fact is disingenuous, sad & definitely not in your academic favor.

James Earl Ray was a registered Democrat. However, he feared change & progress - which pretty much made him a bonafide Conservative. Ray was one of the last of the Dixiecrats before the Great Migration of the Dixiecrats to the GOP.

You mean the Rethugs took an opportunity to help our country and on the day he was inaugurated the Repugs were planning a strategy to not compromise an inch. They chose to be as unhelpful as possible...which has cost this country in more jobs and a slower recovery. Talk about some treasonous acts.

    Be disturbed all you want!

    Sleep much?

0bozo had Carte Blanche for at least 8 months and did nothing with it.

Yeah.... we shut his ass down after the shellacking by America in 2010 and it's a damn good thing that happened. Who knows what he would have tried outside 0bozocare , the wasted $787 porkulus and an attempt at Cap & Tax?

59 votes in the Senate does not make it over the filibuster. Franken was sworn in way late and Kennedy died.
