END OF THE LINE FOR RON PAUL’S INSURGENT CAMPAIGN!

Ron Paul’s plan for a delegate insurgency has reached the end of the line.

The Texas congressman won just two of Nebraska’s 35 delegates at the state party convention Saturday, dashing his final hope of having his name placed in contention for the Republican presidential nomination.

GOP rules require a candidate win a plurality of delegates in at least five states to have their name presented for nomination at the national convention. Nebraska, the last state to hold its convention, was Paul’s last chance to reach that threshold as part of his delegate-driven strategy. He was soundly beaten by presumptive nominee Mitt Romney, who won the other 33 delegates, the Omaha World Herald reported.

Paul’s loss means he will not be guaranteed a speaking slot at the convention in Tampa, Fla. next month, and will have to rely on Romney and convention organizers to grant him time instead. Paul said Friday he believes the Romney campaign is “insecure” about having him speak, possibly out of concern he would use it to rally his supporters.

According to ABC News, Paul’s campaign said it plans to bring about 500 supportive delegates to Tampa, guaranteeing his presence will still be felt. He is also planning to hold his own rally around Tampa, and his supporters have organized Paul Festival 2012, an independent event that will feature live music.

Let's hope so. This ankle-biting Chihuahua has been yapping his 'message' for 30 years and whereas much of it falls into the category of common sense "No sh!t Sherlock - master of the obvious", he has done little to craft any legislation that isn't pie in the sky pipe dreams and doesn't understand the concept of incremental compromise.

It's the rest of his policies that SUCK the big Chalupa and much to his chagrin .... this isn't 1950 any more. The U.S. and our allies DO have serious threats that cannot be ignored while we kick back and toke up a joint on the front porch, waiting for a mushroom cloud to appear on the horizon.

Far out Man ..... did you see that?

I think it finally sunk in and they're off licking wounds and figuring out how to rejoin the conversation while saving some face.

There's a few who went way over the rail and fell in the water but I'm sure that most of them will come to their senses and understand the critical nature of this election.

I don't think 0bozo will be still standing by September 3 anyway.

All of these orchestrated attacks on Romney are in anticipation of the release of "2016 Obama's America" and Sheriff Arpaio's press conference this coming Tuesday.

Combine that with last Thursday at the WH press briefing. That was the FIRST time a journalist brought up 0bie's college records and Carney about choked on his spleen. He played it off and brought up Donald Trump twice, but that was only the first salvo across the bow.

0bozo and the top level DNC officials knew this was coming and it's just the beginning. They haven't been actively campaigning for his second term... they have him out there to raise $$$ in hopes of salvaging the Senate and spread fear of what America would be if they lose control.

All of the challenges to his eligibility so far have been dismissed for technicalities, improper venue, lack of merit and using the excuse that he hasn't been officially nominated yet.

As SOON as some nut-job even tries to sign & file a notarized Official Certificate of Nomination, 1,000's of lawsuits that have been chomping at the bit will be filed across the USA.

It will make no difference if they include the Constitutional eligibility clause or omit it as Pelosi did in 2008 ..... he's screwed either way.

This has been in the works for a long time and has to play out on schedule... and cannot be rushed and dumped all at once,.
There's reasons behind the scandals and dirty dealings being uncovered one by one and not play all the cards.

It can't be so overwhelming that it looks like a vast right wing conspiracy to get the black guys out of the WH.

The proof of the scam & extensive cover-up is all there and he has nowhere left to turn. This next 6 weeks will be VEWY Intewesting to say the weast.
