Well, it's kind of misleading, seeing how she didn't actually write it, she just re-tweeted it. I know that shows that she's in agreement with the statement. However, it's a pretty ignorant statement. People are always going to have their differences when it comes to politics, but to wish death on them shows a real lack of maturity.

She has the right to say it as anyone should have the right to show how classless and stupid they are. I'm not against a woman's right to choose what she does with her own body, am the grandchild of an immigrant, and believe all adult Americans should have the right to marry the consenting adult of their choice... but Ms. Barkin's trailer park speech does nothing for any of her causes and advances no opinions. It just makes her look like an idiot and makes the right feel vindicated when they speak of the far left similarly. This country needs more rational moderates and less of the loud mouthed, name calling, self centered know-it-alls on both sides.

... but Ms. Barkin had better be careful about what she wishes for. The leftist national convention will be held in North Carolina, another state that is prone to hurricanes and tornadoes. Dems have been tacitly racist, xenophobic (how many union people participate in "Jap-bashing"?) and aren't really all that fond of gays (look at the literal gay-bashing violence in Chicago that comes from the honor students Obama once organized). She may well get her wish, but it won't be in the way she expects.
