Republicans will win control of the House of Congress. Gallup Poll, Rasmussen Reports, and nearly every poll prediction shows the Republicans winning at least 30 seats and as many as 70 seats in Congress. This could create the largest Republican majority margin in several generations (thanks to the Tea Party).

If you vote on November 2, 2010, you likely voted for a Republican congressman. Did you? Did you vote for any Republican on your ballot?

NY Times has a great application to watch the results -- click the link below to follow the 2010 election results live.

Actually, I did vote .... but the available choices lacked the optional "other" ... I try to find candidates who appear to possess and display common sense and not parrot their "party line" .... very unfortunately, those few and rare individuals generally wind up as an "also ran".

Oh, was there another viable option? Me thinks the Dems may be the party to go the way of the Whigs. It is clear that they have become a party of neocommunists and have alienated many of those who used to call themselves Democrats..including myself

To all those who voted for Republicans that won in 2010----THANKS TO YOUR VOTES THE EARTH AND ALL IT'S INHABITANTS ARE DOOMED!! Obviously you don't give a damn about the earth, your home. All of the Republicans you voted for don't believe in the obvious--climate change, which is happening NOW! Climate change is killing thousands and soon millions of people. The oil and coal bought Repubs. you voted for are powered by those climate changing companies that are just like BP---don't give a damn about you, the earth or it's inhabitants!! A REAL DUMB VOTE!!!

Next time, try to take time to do some research and consider voting the the "most qualified INDIVIDUAL" rather than the blind "party line".

My wife says "the least of two evils is still evil." She hit the nail on the head. Yes, I voted Republican. That doesn't mean they will be any different than the current group of do nothings. I only hope that they stand up for what is right, fair and just. Lately they have been sticking their heads in the sand. This is their big chance to prove they are for smaller government and government by the people and for the people. I'm not holding my breath.

I specifically voted for conservatives and the Republican Party is the closest thing we have to a true conservative. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for economic slavery. The Democrat Party has placed economic chains on minorities for decades while labeling Conservatives the racists. Any cursory examination of voting records will prove that without the Republican Party the Civil Rights Act would never have passed. Liberal Democrats did everything possible to block it because it would loosen the chains and limit their control of the population. After it passed they used their control over the education system to convince the masses that they indeed were the champions. They have re-written history and got away with it. Don’t be surprised when the Deceiver-In-Chief Obama strikes a conciliatory tone while the lame duck Congress busily shreds any evidence to the contrary. The move to take over America began with Woodrow Wilson these socialist are patient and understand that they misjudged the American voter and moved too fast. They will slow down enough to get off the radar but the ultimate goal has not changed.

Everyone I know in my neighborhood voted Republican down the board, but living in Las Vegas, we still couldn't compete with the crooked Unions, and illegals. Some Las Vegans said they voted for Reid because he has power in Washington, and Sharron would be on the lowest rung of the ladder. I ask them, "So what good has that power that Reid has done for the state of Nevada?" Highest unemployment state, in the top of the highest home forclosure states, and highest food stamp state. Yep, Dirty Harry has done sooooo much for the state of Nevada. I would love to know the total vote count against the number of registered voters in our state. Bet the numbers won't match!

Not enough, no. I didn't vote for any Republicans though. I think a conservative social agenda is not compatible with the Libertarian idea of personal liberty.

I tend to vote Libertarian but every ballot does not include a Libertarian running for that office. I " check out everyone I vote for " and even though I am politically a Libertarian , I vote conservative ( even if they are a Democrat ) although this combination is rare . Two Dems got my vote in local races because the Republicans running against them sucked . Nobody should vote a straight ticket .

I hear ya. I lived in CA when Brown was governor the last time. I think we(the state0 filed for bankruptcy under his watch...people got i.o.u.s for tax return checks, oh, and the pot parties at the mansion w/Ronstandt...good times. Being an L.A. woman, it saddens me to see the formerly great state of California go to the dogs. People joked about California falling into the ocean. Instead, they are driving off the cliff Thelma and Louise style. Hate to say it,. butShe has to go down to the bottom before sane minds ackowledge the wrong turn she took....

You're right! I am no masochist, but the rest of the country has to give California some tough love, and hold firm on any state bailout. This state is collapsing right before our eyes, yet these idiots keep re-electing the same people that caused the mess. How does the saying go? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different result.
