EBay pulls Glenn Beck’s ‘Obama in Pee Pee’ jar after bids rise to $11,300

A jar of what appeared to be Blaze media mogul Glenn Beck's urine with a President Obama toy in it is already going for $11,300 on eBay - and bids are rapidly rising.

According to Beck the jar is "art," his reaction to reports of a painting of President Obama as Jesus Christ. The auction was posted on eBay with bidding beginning at $5.00.

A link to the eBay auction was posted on Beck's website, explaining that the auction would benefit Mercury One and their Hope for the Holidays fund.

A report on The Blaze website explained that the urine is "fake," and his "art" is only part of his effort "to highlight the hypocrisy of those who would shout in defiance at defacing the image of a sitting U.S. president, but not that of an image so sacred to Christianity."

THAT is BS...if he advertised it as urine, then it was a biohazard and eBay pulled it because of that...AND further eBay is not a museum but a commercial, private enterprise and therefore not a marketplace dealing with free speech, religion, or government.

PS - notice that the reporting entity, The Blaze, is owned by Beck...

And, as fertilizer, likely subject to standardized safety regulations.

Now...if it were fertilizer rather than human waste, I would be more surprised then if either the Obama or Virgin examples might be pulled.

In either cases, dealing in human waste, or unregulated waste products, is possibly contrary to federal and state laws, and most certainly contrary to eBay policy.

The dung is Elephant, not human, and I've never heard whether "Piss Christ" is made with real urine or even if it's human urine.

I'm focusing solely on eBay, as the entire premise here is that this was pulled for some political reason rather than it was simply pulled because it violated eBay terms.

What about all that poop art? It was widely promoted and accepted and acclaimed by the atheist sect.. What is wrong with pee art? It was in hugely better taste than the poop art. And there certainly was a market and demand for it. Proven by the high bids it drew. Which is the definition of true art. Real art will always survive and be in demand. But the government subsidized art is pretty much all crap. It has promoted the induction "artist" of art that is in no way art.

I have no clue why anyone would want to spend that much money on something like that, but I was referring to eBay pulling it. There is nothing that is against their rules since the pee isn't real. But I get Beck's point and I think that was the whole entire gist of him "creating" that piece of "art".
