EAGLE EYE’S THOUGHTS…DO YOU AGREE?

EagleEye 2010/05/11 23:17:19
Eagle Eye Says:

'I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The
only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud
Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill
someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, which is why there are no
girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE ?

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I have the right 'NOT' to be tolerant of others because they are different,
weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities
where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling; it is the Law of Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a
newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the
countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot you if you
threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see the above lines..

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax
breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars
to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document and open to theirinterpretations.

I don't hate the rich; I don't pity the poor.

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue
to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to
stand up to the kid and say 'NO!' when necessary.

I think tattoos and piercings are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip
ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of 'Political Correctness.' I know a lot of black people, and not
a single one of them was born in Africa , so how can they be 'African-Americans'?
Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a
European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe .
I am proud to be from America and nowhere else.

And if you don't like my point of view, tough...

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE

OF THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC,

Yes, these are cases of reverse discrimination (rampart in Australia also), where a minority group are allowed special privileges that the majority cannot access.

What must be realised, about such programmes, is that they are government instituted or allowed to function through government regulation. The ‘enemy’ is not those accessing such programmes but those (the government) that allow such institutions to function.

& once again the people are divided?

"I have the right 'NOT' to be tolerant of others because they are different,
weird, or tick me off. "

Actually, you don't. If you don't like someone, then you do NOT have the right to kill them. You MUST let them be. You MUST be tolerant. This does NOT mean you have to like them, or be nice to them, but you cannot force them to change.

"I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a
newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English!"
    What about free speech?

"I think the police should have every right to shoot you if you
threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see the above lines.. "
My cousin was shot and killed, because he didn't stop after a cop said "stop." He had his back turned to the officer. He didn't even know the officer was there. He was deaf. You think he deserved to die?

he didn't say "kill them" .. he said "NOT be tolerant" .. dont put words into his mouth... speaking of mouths.. there's this thing called free speech... he can rightly say 'bite me ya nob!"

maybe you need help with the word tolerant? .. it means "Showing respect for the rights or opinions or practices of others" ...

we made the indians learn english, and they were here first! ... free speech? see above :P

sorry for your loss... good point about being deaf... perhaps eye contact should be a requirement :)

    Wrong.

To tolerate something means to put up with it. For example, whenever the man who is hired to mow the lawns around here, drives RIGHT BY my bedroom window when I'm trying to read a good, interesting book in peace... I tolerate it.

When you are sat next to a mother and infant on a plane, and that infant begins to cry, you tolerate it.

When there is only one checkstand open at the local grocery store, and the line has become very long, you don't cut in line. You tolerate the wait.

"Tolerate" doesn't mean respect. It means "to put up with."

yes.. and he said "NOT" tolerate.. so he does NOT have to put up with the man mowing in front of his window, he can use FREE SPEECH and voice his disgust with whatever he so chooses, or flip the guy the bird! hahaha that is the beauty about america.. we do not have to 'tolerate' someone being annoying, we can use our mouth and tell them they are annoying and not be stuck into some torture chamber because we offended the king :P

it dont matter what you and i do.. what we are willing to tolerate or not... not everyone has to tolerate everyone else... although either of us may think that they should, they do not have to do so.. they can voice their opinion even if we dont agree or like it :P

hahaha.. tell that to the countless people that have indeed cut in front of me!! and i tolerate them! .. although.. a time or two.. i've said HOW RUDE!

perhaps you should look up the definition yourself :P

When did I tell anyone that they didn't have freedom of speech? Are you high?

And no, you're still being tolerant. You're not physically stopping me from speaking.

being intolerant of someone does not mean you stop them from doing something... tolerance or lack there of is an emotional reaction to something :P

from my view, when you said they could not be intolerant of someone, yes, you said they didn't have free speech :P

lol .. no... not high.. are you?

and no i'm not.. i've grown very intolerant of you.. it's grown into a desire to cyber bop you upside the head too.. which would be a phsycal (although cyber) act of aggression because my intolerance towards you has grown to hostility towards you :P hahahaha

LOL .. it suited you when you posted the #2 definition of it :P

    http://www.merriam-webster.co...

    Main Entry: in·tol·er·ant
    Pronunciation: \-rənt\
    Function: adjective
    Date: circa 1735
1 : unable or unwilling to endure
2 a : unwilling to grant equal freedom of expression especially in religious matters b : unwilling to grant or share social, political, or professional rights : bigoted
    3 : exhibiting physiological intolerance

    --

note... unwilling to grant equal FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION ... which has nothing to do with KILLING someone as your initial post proclaimed :P

I'm sorry, it's becoming increasingly difficult to communicate with you. This is America, can you please speak proper, grammatically correct English?

"being intolerant of someone does not mean you stop them from doing something"
Yes, that's exactly what it means.

"tolerance or lack there of is an emotional reaction to something"
    Wrong.

"when you said they could not be intolerant of someone, yes, you said they didn't have free speech :P "
Free speech does NOT cover forcing another person to do something. It never has. If I were to break into my neighbor's house, and, at gunpoint, force them to convert to some religion, I CANNOT defend my actions by saying I have free speech.

Thank you for proving me right, and yourself wrong, with that Merriam Webster definition, by the way. ALL of the definitions listed support my position.

what?! your not being TOLERANT of 'improper english' ? hahahahaha.... what makes you think you have a RIGHT to be INTOLERANT of my english? hahaha

ummm.. nope... being intolerant of someone's actions does not mean you stop them, it means you cant accept them and most times it bothers YOU not THEM :P ... you've just proved that too.. your intolerant of my english.. and i'm mark'n it all up an down the page laugh'n my fanny off.. hahahah

being intolerant of someone does NOT mean you force them to do anything.. it effects YOU not them.. and YOU have a right to voice your FREEDOM of SPEECH.. however THEY can do so as well and tell you to go get stuffed! hahahaha

if you were to break into your neighbors and force them to follow your religion.. that'd be a use of force (perhaps caused by your beliefs and intolerance of other beliefs, which is an emotional reaction within you) of your ideological garbage onto another and thats ILLEGAL and you'd go to JAIL .. hahaha

the definition did not prove you right :P ... ex where intolerance effects another.. our governement has an intolerance to not paying taxes.. if you do not pay your taxes, our gov will send you nasty letters threatening jail time for not doing so.. if you continue to not do so, you'll go before a judge, where they'll say nasty things and put you in jail! .. they do not KILL you :P
